I am from Southern India. Here during Ramzan (or ANY festival) stores shower with offers. And people make good use of it. You expect discounts up to 15%-20% easily. Particularly in Hyderabad, there are a lot of people/families that open stalls ONLY during Ramzan and make a killing that can sustain them for an entire year. Same can be said about Diwali/Navratri with respect to Hindu festivals. That's the time department stores give huge discounts to get rid of the old stock. They'll replenish with new stock come January.

Bro PKR aur INR is not equal, plus every country have its own price and income. In Pakistan income is quite high as compare to India. These fruit cart pay daily 500 to 800 as illegal tax now compared the illegal tax with lower Indian income
@@junaids3046 i live in Kanpur city, each vegetable/fruit seller earns minimum of 1500 rupee per day, and Kanpur is a 2 tier city unlike Delhi, Mumbai.
Prices are overall stable and there are decent margins for these vendors here (as i ve enquired it personally)
