We loved this video ❤ Re the statues, my hubby, an Irishman, couldn’t help shouting out, “Have they not heard of Jesus? Well that’s his mammy!” Thank you for your brilliant nightly entertainment, and smashing photos again, Zak. What a good eye you have 👏👋❤️
I take the skin and bones out of mackerel after cooking ,mash it up with garlic mayo or plain mayo a few herbs and place in a container in fridge and use it as a pate on toast
Hello all Just wanted to say, this trip you doing , is great, because you are going to totally different areas , showing a totally different angle, on the north atlantic route, keep doing this because its amazing , 😊
Fantastic filming. Tell Zac from me hes a good boy and he will be a good man with the life experiences he is getting from his parents. You have both done a good job with Zac 😊
The numbered stones around the well are' stations of the cross'. So this is a place of pilgrimage, these places were often used in Penal times to say Mass. Its clearly well maintained & may have an annual feast day associated to it, where outdoor Mass will be had. The hollowed stone in the friary could be a baptismal front. If it were near an open door it could be to bless yourself on the way into the room. These items can be seen in current churches.
Love the well and the abbey 😍🥰 mad how the tree was growing out of the roof! I remember when my mum gave me mackerel as a kid, she’d been given it off a fisherman, she was like “oooh you’re going to love it” I ran straight to the loo to throw up 🤢😂 Great vid lovelies ❤️🤗
The statue at the well is Our Lady of Lourdes, widely venerated by Catholics. She represents Mary mother of God who appeared to St Bernadette in Lourdes, France. You should call at Knock Co Mayo which is a world famous Marian shrine.
Poor you Kathryn, hope your back gets better soon ❤I remember when we were camping in Wicklow I creaked my neck putting down the picnic table of all things🙄and was in agony for days.
Hi Guys, hope you all ok, what a lovely park up so pretty, the weather makes us all feel better, especially when it warm, lovely to see Zak, camera ready, little boo as-well so cute, lovely walkabout so pretty, it’s great to see you all enjoying yourselves makes my day, have a lovely time take care love use ❤❤❤❤
I'm really enjoying following your journey and loved the wishing well. The statue is Our Lady. Ireland was a very Catholic country at one time. When Christianity came to ireland they often build their churches in places that were holy or meaningful to the locals. The druids believed that some places with wells were crossovers to the other world and even today, there are people that believe that some of these 'holy wells have healing properties. Apparently some of them have compounds in them that help with pain and depression. (Can't remember the name but think it may be lithium. (Early irish going to well to get their fix).😂
I did a blackberry and apple crumble about 2 ish weeks ago lovely jubly. That wishing well did look beautiful so qaint. Wow that is amaizing that castle. Lovely photos Zac your getting quite a nack. Very nutricous too mackrel on toast mmmmm.

There are many varieties of orange-flowered montbretia, also known as crocosmia, including: Crocosmia 'Orange Devil': This montbretia produces trumpet-shaped flowers that are bright red-orange in color. The flowers face upwards and have narrow petal-lobes and prominent cream stamens. Crocosmia 'Orange Pekoe': This montbretia produces an abundance of orange/yellow flowers with red flushed tips. It can grow in partial shade but does best in full sun. Crocosmia 'Prince of Orange': This montbretia is available as corms. Crocosmia 'Orange Lucifer': This montbretia is also known as Crocosmia 'Orange Lucifer'.
The statue is of the virgin Mary it's a Catholic statue.lots of them in Ireland some are near holy wells were the water is blessed.at lot of the locations might be in holy places or ancient druid spots.before christiany came to Ireland by st Patrick ,who was a Welsh man converted The Irish from pagans to Christians and got rid of all The snakes as well.lol The ancient druids had sacred places and a lot of them have now been changed to Christian spots. Really enjoying your vlog s.seen places I haven't visited and I live in Ireland .
Yes Zak was homeschooled due to bullying well before we went full time In The van. Best thing I ever did. My advice is do what your gut instinct tells you as it’s always right!

Guessing that the statue at Mary's Well is the Virgin Mary? (Other internet providers are available). Tobermory in Scotland also means Mary's Well.
Yes I think your right
