    Good review! Everything you stated is true! I installed the Dunlop RoadSmart III tires on my 2016 BMW R1200RTP and I must say, they are truly a phenomenal tire. After wearing out a couple of sets of Michelin Pilot Road 4's I can personally attest these tires WILL give Michelin a run for their money. Make no mistake about it, Michelin makes some excellent tires and the Pilot Road 4's are no exception. I have always preferred Dunlop tires on my H-D's so when these came out, I decided to give the RoadSmart III's a try and I am so glad I did! Excellent tire....great on dry pavement and even better in the rain. I have about 6K miles on them so far and they still have plenty of life on them. Dunlop may very well have a new winner on their hands.

      How is this a "review" when the "reviewer" doesn't share a single bit of personal experience with the tyre as he has probably never ridden one? This is more a video dramatisation of Dunlop's marketing brochure.

    What would you recommend for a replacement of OEM Dunlop K505F - 110/80-18 58H (front) and Dunlop K505 - 140/70-17 66H (rear)?
    Would Dunlop RS3 110/80R-18 58V (front) and RS3 160/70ZR-17 73W (rear) fit 1996 Honda Nighthawk 750's rims?

    Thx Matt for a informative video I have a Pikes Peak Multistrada that I ride primarily on canyons and mtn twisties I like the low end torque and quick acceleration from apex of turns the tighter the better such as GMR and upper 39. I've tried Q3+, Scorpion 2s, Angel Gts, Pilot Power 2s, PR 2,3,4,&5s with varying milage of 2-3k average with rear tire wear on sides being limiting factor to more milage . Being retired and on limited budget I'm looking at a tire that gives good grip and feedback which won't cost an arm and leg like those above. I only take 500 mike trips max so wont need long distance milage. My nexr rear is PR2 that I got on sale for half of what the current PR5 cost but understsnd Michelin is discontinuing this type. I'm considering Pilot Power as low cost replacement to PR2 as center tread is usually not a problem and understend it will wearrapidly on hot slab highway use. Appreciate hearing your recommendation.

    Got 1000 miles on my new 3’s. Every time I ride my st1300 it’s better. I don’t know if the tires get better with age but sure feels like it. The hold is fantastic. So much grip. I like em.

      Like Cindy,just put them on my St 1300 also. I really love the feel of these tires so far,as I've now passed 50,000 miles on this bike. Have ran pirrelli and Bridgestone so far. Got severe cupping from my last Bridgestone front tire,which was unusual on this bike.

      Great question Lee K. These tires will for sure be great tires for your Z1000r. Best tire, that is debatable. hi, can you explain me how this tire compare to angel gt? i have a honda hornet 2007, i just started riding and i want a begginer friendly tire. i will use them mostly for commuting but also weekend rides outside of town. im from europe, winters arent harsh here but we do have a bit of rain. thank you :D

    • @chaparralmotorsports

      Thank you for our inquiry. This tire is more touring and less sport than the Angel GT tire. This tire will be great for your 2007 Hornet. - Kyle & the Chap Moto Team

      @@chaparralmotorsports thanks for answer. does that mean that angel gt would be more or less suitable for begginer, i mean does it have more grip on dry and on wet road for my conditions (begginer, commuting, occasional weekend rides)?

    • @chaparralmotorsports
      @chaparralmotorsports  5 лет назад +1

      @@t0malito404 either tire will be great for you. Being a beginner or and expert will not change the handling of the tires. I have ridden on both and they both do a great job in we and in dry. The RoadSmart 3 was a longer lasting tire for me and might be more commute friendly. - Kyle & the Chap Moto Team

    Which type of Dunlop Tires good for slipperry and Sharp Curve Roads?

    • @chaparralmotorsports
