aint gonna lie, the leg sweep patch, im not much a fan of. personally I believe it was a good way to give a skill gap between the good players and the ones tht mainly cheese. I say tht not because of combo extensions, but because its something u can literally play around, just press block on activation. it was so easy to counter imo, and for lower dp cost characters it was easier to fight meta character all day if you knew how to do it right. now its like, everyones back on an even playing field except now u gotta deal with the ridiculous damage output higher dp characters do meanwhile u fight with a twig at hand. less of a skill gap but just me tho

If just doing a leg sweep is what helping you consistently beat bums and those bums are who you are constantly getting matched up with, then you probably aren't that much better than them to begin with. You said it yourself, the patch even the playing field. So the only thing you have to worry about is being good at the game. Plus if your a good enough player, it doesn't really matter what cheese you're playing against. You should be able to beat them because cheese can only take them so far in the first place.

Beast sense did not activate on the super because it was used already earlier. Also Beast Sense gives you an attack buff by 2, for about 5 seconds that’s why it’s called beast sense.
He just has the same kit as SSJ4 Gogeta but with a fast rush super. Or same kit as MUI Goku but no auto-dodge. His animations are cool, but his skill preset brings nothing new. Same fun we could be having with MUI since day 1

I hate this patch with them making z counters harder to perform all I keep doing is getting combo chained and I can’t break out of it and everyone has done mastered vanishing apparently. The patch is fine but once they touched z counters it’s became extremely difficult to defend.
SC is not harder , the time it takes to reset to do it again is longer so it's less spammable. The timing is the same. (At least thats from the patch notes)

The recent patch for Sparking Zero has made the game less enjoyable for me. Instead of removing Leg Sweep, they could have found an alternative, as it was key to certain strategies. Wild Sense should cost 3 skill points since skilled players can counter it anyway. The nerfs to combo extensions are the biggest issue, as combos separate skilled players from lower-tier ones, and limiting them makes the game less rewarding. This is a fighting game-melee combos should matter more than running away and spamming ki blasts. Players should be encouraged to learn combos, not rely on defensive cheese.
I don’t think removing the leg sweep reset has changed much. It just means that you can’t combo for an entire match. So then you would naturally have to have more engagements, which I think it’s better because wins will feel more rewarding. Combo extensions haven’t been nerfed, it just stops you from being able to repeat the same reset, but now you just explore the rest of your rush chain, rather than just leg sweep. In my opinion, no game should have infinite combos, every combo should have an end, and getting rid of the leg sweep reset allows for combos to end Melee attacks should definitely matter more than ki blasts, I agree

@@YinkaGaminggive a frame breakdown of examples. Is it the same timing as countering with O when being dashed attacked around ? Things like that can help a lot understand the timing. My enemies attacks hasn’t worked for me since the beginning, but I can counter those dash combos with O consistent.
I am I the only one that still managed to wipe the floor with beast Gohan? Using Beerus and Jiren Full power, I managed to beat the single one I met and even vanish his instant teleport kick multiple times. Don't know, I feel like I'm an average player being S5 grade so probably my match ups aren't that strong.

So when I say easily cruise, I just meant that I wasn’t constantly in prolonged battles against cheesers, which has been a good chunk of my ranked experience, and I understand Z rank means nothing about how good someone is; it was just a personal goal to reach. Overall i liked the patch (the game is in a better state now). I just think that smashing square when having the back of your opponent is just too powerful now because of the nerf of super counter. I think they should either remove the step-in combo extension (reducing from 3 combo strings to 2 or even 1) or scaling down the combo damage after the step-in extension.

@BayouBunny super counter is heavily connection dependant because the active frames of the super counter are so small. So, yeah, very boring mechanic that should be in a LAN fighting game, not an online one. It's just a way for the devs to prevent infinite combos easily without having to put much thoughts into the frame data

I don't know i don't really like him. Instead of doing something original they drop another ui goku or gogeta lv4 that will be very annoying to play against.
