No there's a counter to everything, there's multiple counters that can stop that footwork you step over yourself, or step backwards and turn, or step to your opponent and attack inside or clinch him Loma uses those techniques in the video if you didn't notice James Tony did also.

7:20 beautiful move... this guy is an excellent most high trainer...anyone training at his gym needs to consider themselves very very very lucky indeed ...trust me.
i boxed as a teenager and our gym produced, carl crook, mick jennings, and now jack catterall.... but when learning they did a lot of basic blocking...and shouted at us to keep our guards up...showed us all the punches and lots of sparring...but never this much in depth boxing teaching....we were skipping running shadow boxing , heavy bag work, circuits a couple basic techniques and sparring....we didnt even have speed ball or double end bag...if this guy was around i expect our gym would have produced a lot more champions.
from my experience any reasonable guy can become somewhat of a champion...the real secret is to dedicate and put your time in..
after 2 years most have dropped out of boxing...
by year 5 you are really proficient and even an average guy can deal with most people of lesser experience..
if you keep training and clean of drugs and smoking...by year 8 you will have some championship belts under you.
and then if you are real serious you can easily turn pro.
FROM THERE if you have a good manager ..he will cherry pick your first 20 fights
and by then if you are still clean, you will probably be a state champion.
after that ...its when you will meet up with proper talent and your manager cant really pick as much, you have to take your chances.
and this is where most will drop out and get beaten.. and start the road out
if you make it through the tough matches..then you will get a world championship fight for a crappy belt.
and if you make that...its big money and then you have to prettymuch fight the best.
what i am saying is the guys that made it from our boxing gym were not actually the best fighters there...they didnt have the best ability speed power skill..
but when everyone else dropped out...they stook to it ..year after year.
    and then they got paid.

that double and triple jab is something i use myself but i split it as it can be used as an attacking combo which is what your doing or a defensive combo where you would be slightly out of range bouncing in and out to your left throwing your jab towards the right side of your opponents face all the time thinking of your right hand, as soon as your opponent steps in he gets the right hand fast and powerful , works a treat !

great content as always. Regarding the counter punch and Philly shell instructional, it would be good if you had more of the content showing foot position, some key info missed on not been able to see whats happening with the feet. would be nice to have two cameras shooting at all times, one camera as u currently do, but one focused on a wider view, or foot view. they could be placed in the upper right corner, or as a spit screen, would be very helpful. we make TKD instructionals like that, made them very easy to follow.

Sphinx Saga i know you wanted his critique and I’m sure you don’t want to hear some random guys, but just Incase you’re open to that, I’ll let you know what I think, I think you should work on the slip technique itself, it’s really easy and quick to learn and will be easy to apply to the progress you’ve already made on the slip bag, so it’s not like I’m saying you’re doing it all wrong or anything, just that if you get the proper slip form down, it’s better because you’ll be in a more athletic position, it’s hard to explain the slip technique but I’ll find a really quick and simple video and link it. Basically you don’t want to sway side to side, you still want to be kind of frontal, imagine that you just threw a right cross for instance, that is the position your body should be in when slipping to your left, just with your hands at your chin as opposed to throwing the cross. And make sure to exhale when slipping the same way you would when punching. I’ll find a simple video and edit my comment and paste it in. Here’s a quick one ruclips.net/video/FCM7m6TJWUQ/видео.html
Also, one thing I wanted to say was that I don’t even really like rap music that much and I still thought that was good in that part after the maize bag slips 👍

I’ve been training to do the same, yet go right or towards their power hand to make them want to throw that power hand, with my intent on instantly countering it... your thoughts on that, yes I know it’s risky as well... also other fighter I follow is more of muy Thai fighter, is that the reason for my confusion?
