I'm new to this game, but got excited bc I set up my caving items almost the exact same way! Bow - sword - tools - water bucket (also handy for exploring a deep pit) - torches - food - dirt/cobblestone.
If you’re directionally challenged, then I would HIGHLY recommend only placing torches on your right-hand side, unless you’re absolutely not able to, or if you’re just trying to light up a big cavern as fast as possible. This makes it so that when you’re trying to find your way out, you just have to make sure that the torches that you’re following are on your left-hand side. Also, say you’re entering a huge cavern that has a bunch of different holes to other parts of the cave. Mark the entrance that led you to the cavern so that you know how to backtrack. I usually do this by surrounding my entrance with a bunch of torches, but you could also just make an unusual formation with blocks of rock in front or above it
Dude, the only thing im scared of during caving even after playing minecraft for more than 6 years, is the surrounding of a load of mobs and fighting enderman in the beginning of a world. so make a video about killing mobs during caving and tips.
It helps a lot to make a homebase with at least a bed and a chest in any cave that you’re exploring. That way you don’t need to have anything in your inventory that you don’t want to lose and you’ll respawn within the cave if you die. It doesn’t really help with the loss of your levels, but levels are easy to gain back, especially if you’re in a cave that spawns a lot of those green jelly block monsters
Bedrock doesn't have left hand torch option, it takes a lot of torches . Besides, playing on phone without good custom hud, it's much harder to fight with the mobs. Please make a video for Android players to improve pvp😢
I was on the edge of the cliff inside the cave, lava lake below, skeletons on the right side, 5 zombies on the left side, they caught me, I had a heart and a shield that was about to break, behind me was the wall, in front of me was the zombie. And this is something that actually happened
Turning up gamma is non vanilla to me, not something most people can do. Torches also help you know where you have been and what you still need to explore. They can also help you find your way out. As for the axe that’s true. As an old school player I just don’t use the axe as a weapon.
@@portlandgoose4727 if you walk through a cave, you have to mine where you havent been yet to get new ressources. therefore, u havent placed any torches there yet and because of that, mobs can spawn anyways. placing torches takes time and therefore allows mobs to spawn too in the areas where you havent caved yet
I feel bad for the players who deosnt know how crazy op shield are Yesterdayi legit survived a fight against 4 drowns 1 with a trident mid ocean hardcore no armor just a shield and axe

That’s fantastic! You will go far Bill!

OG tip right there.
That’s a good tip. A little too inconvenient for me, but good for people that need the help.
W tip
I actually do the opposite, I place torches on the left and when Im going back I know it's the "right" way

You’re the second person in this video to ask this, so I’m definitely working on it.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I haven’t played Minecraft since Ocelots could turn into cats and it’s so much more intense now! Thank you
haha! I feel that, i took a long break as well. Almost feels modded coming back after a long time.
I remember that, it makes me feel so old even though I’m literally a teenager lol 😅
I am scared of mobs, so could you make a video on how to kill mobs fast?

I always end up dying surrounded by mobs, so #10 is a pretty good tip I hadnt thought of before
Glad it helped!
I have a personal tip
I always bring a lava bucket to kill mobs and stop them from moving
Nice! It’s not really style, but that’s the great thing about Minecraft! Everyone has their own way to do things!
Great tips!!! Amazing video.
Thanks Dippy!

When I was going to mine at the big cave there so many monster and I shield and my shield broke and I died I lost my hardcore world😭
Tbh you dont need torches when you turn up gamma and keep mobile,
Sword is also optional when carrying an axe

How does this keep monsters away though? That’s one of the biggest benefits of placing torches

silk touch is useful but the problem is when u mine coal u have to smelt coal with alternative ways like wood or lava
Never had that problem haha!
Can’t you just place the blocks down and then mine them with a regular pickaxe..?

Great tips 🏆 ty
