I never heard a room being described as "selfish". I love architects! I kind of get, I think. Notice how the bedroom and the main living space is not just typical rectangular shapes but everything is angled? It looks dramatic. And i guess it's not the most efficient use of the space, which is why it's "selfish"? It works! I don't think of moody homes and beach homes as one and the same but this executes this vision perfectly. If you like the raw concrete look, this is your house!
Dream concept and ultimate masculinity wrapped up perfectly with no need for future redesign. It will sit and serve endlessly. Finally a true dwelling and fine art piece all in one. The best of “bests”.

Good job :-) I particularly like the seamless visual transition of the pool to the bay and the indirect lighting of the garage over the pool. I assume the overwhelming presence of the black colour was desired by the client? It's a shame that such a beautiful house makes me feel so anxious because of the colour.
Omg this is me as the owner if i was rich. I love boats the beach and cars and the house is so perfectly matching my taste i would not even change a single rug or towel or anything
I’ve had a dream that I hope to create one day and it resembles yours if it was its brother, with warm brown mahogany beams defused the lights instead of the darker timer chosen, regardless I love it. This was as if I closed my eyes and thought deeply into what I truly wanted out of my art in Architecture ~ Manì Oso
This really is beautiful and absolutely perfect. The only thing I would modify is the black gloss ceilings. As it feels oppressively heavy for a ceiling. Maybe make them matt black or a lighter shade of grey perhaps but just fine tuning.
This residence has some really neat design elements, but felt too cold for my taste. I am surprised they didn't include some wood trim, paneling or flooring with the concrete to soften the space and add some warm organic elements
It's a beautiful home - however, several things puzzled me - 1) living right on the coast, I was shocked they had an underground area for the car collection given a hurricane/tropical storm/tsunami type of event would ruin the collection, same with the pool window; 2) the moon window catwalk isn't wide enough to place any furniture for people to actually sit out and enjoy the view (and a bit of visual privacy).
Unbelievable place. The long basin with integrated angled sinks are unreal. I would have gone with a dark walnut myself instead of so much black but the monochrome speaks for itself. Anyone know what watch Trevor is wearing??
It's beautiful and has a great stoic feel to it which I love, but it's built on a sand bar which is soft and fleeting. This place will be inundated with sea water in a decade or so.
This is an amazing house and a job well done, my only brief is that you talked too much, if a person cannot see or feel the design and layout of the home than that's their problem. Background music would suffice. Thanks.
You've taken all the design elements of an abandoned soviet state owned housing complex, charged millions of dollars and called it "art". While every part of this warehouse is cold, the true "art" is the Sales Reps ability to convince the buyer that this is Architecturally Beautiful. Even the two video hosts were unable to show any emotion during the walkthrough as the build of this dull, souless concrete tomb has sucked the life from them.
Can someone link to a video as to how and why you get those holes in the concrete wall that you see throughout the house including behind the presenters.

they were going for the "moody" element. It was consistent. You can see wood trim, but it's painted black.
I thought they were going to say the moon hole is use to see the bat signal.😂
