It’s rarely taught in American History class. The only reason I know about Tombstone is because I’m from Arizona and it was taught in my Arizona History class.
Doc is the realest friend that ever was. We should all be blessed with a friend like Doc. Love the reaction, Jayy! Not all westerns are great. The two I think you might enjoy is 'Unforgiven' with Clint Eastwood, and 'Rio Bravo' with John Wayne & Dean Martin.
11:18, "Turkey Creek" Jack Johnson (the guy who had the bleeding ear) is played by veteran western actor Buck Taylor. Taylor most famously played the character Deputy Newly in Gunsmoke which is the longest running TV western in history. Though he is in his 80's Taylor still plays in westerns. He was a recurring character on the tv show Yellowstone with Kevin Costner.
The guy who played Marshall White was Harry Carey jr. In several John Wayne movies, he usually played the young Cowboy or Soldier (depending on circumstances) in John Wayne's group.
When Johnny Ringo started speaking another language he was speaking Latin (Not Spanish or Italian but the old language of Latin). Back then, only educated men knew how to speak Latin. So Johnny is showing doc that he was educated as well.
13:53 Virgil says "Her maiden name was Sullivan". From what I have read, because the Irish were so poor when they came to the U.S.A in the early 1800s there were a lot of Irish women who earned money by being prostitutes. As a result, one of the terms for prostitutes before the Civil War was 'Sullivan'. It was not a good thing to say and I am surprised Virgil did not get his wife's temper up for it.
Something very ironic? No" knows who killed Johnny Ringo near the wooded area. Close to the Apache Indian reservation!✨ Many researchers believe it's one his enemy from his very terrible old past lifestyle caught up to him!✨ In a final great duel of very instantly deadly perfection of a once great gun fight would end there!✨ No eye witnesses accounts? Later doc holiday would get the credit for killing Johnny Ringo!✨ My great inspiring wisdom for today!✨ Have a very impressive beautiful 😍 day.😍👏❤
The cowboy 🤠 red belt slash on the side clothing style!✨ probably came the outlaw josey Wales movie!✨ The union soldiers Red legs!✨ Who, are deadly force not to miss with!✨ Until they met a very deadly confederate soldier and his very close friends!✨ Also Colors" The gangmembers movie was made during this time period. The perfect 🥰 Red color design of this two very impressive beautiful made movies!✨ very much inspired this great movie!✨ My great inspiring message for today!✨ Have a very impressive beautiful 😍 day.😍👏
Hi Jayy, I'm always late to the party. I'm just now watching your reaction to Tombstone. Ok I forgot why I was commenting, hell I'm old! Sweet Jayy try not to obscure the video, I'm on s.s. and can't afford what y'all charge to watch y'all's reactions. So please, have mercy on us Older People who can't afford to pay. However I do Love to Watch Young Folks react to Us older People. Jayy, if I were 20 years younger, We'd have to talk! Lol. 😑💯❤️🤫🤔🥰🥰🥰🤣🤣
Ya know, many, in those times, were more educated than anyone we see now. They read and traveled and learned things. No tv. No phone and NO INTERNET. Admittedly I’m addicted. I got rid of cable and that was it. SMH
I am with you, I do not know what Kate's motivations are. I do not think that Kate was married to Doc. I thought that the real Doc abused her but that is not depicted here so I do not know why she is trying to kill Doc.
I don't think she was trying to kill him. At that time, TB was a terminal disease - Doc was going to die regardless. If he stopped smoking, drinking, etc it might have bought him some time, but it would not have saved his life.
@@professionalvampire1 That is a good idea. Maybe she is trying to allow him to enjoy what remains of his life since he is pretty much condemned to die? A good thought Thank you.
@watchwithjayy She was a drug addicted prostitute that he was shacked up with, but in that day and time, living together was unacceptable. To get passed that, they were considered common law married, but they weren't really married. You might call it a friends with benefits situation today.

The man who gets knifed at the card game by Doc is played by Frank Stallone, Sylvester’s brother.
You're Beautiful Lady. If you look that good at 4, I can only imagine how Good you looked at Midnight! Lol! I Wasn't There. 🤔🤫🤫
I am amazed at how many people don't know this is a true story.
Well we learn something new every day 😁

Thinking the same thing!!
Wyatt Earp was asked why he and Doc Holliday were friends. He said their friendship began after Doc had saved his life in Dodge City.

He was my favorite!
Wasn't their another singer/actor in the rio bravo film?
@@watchwithjayy I would suggest (the original) “The Magnificent Seven”, and “Shane”.
This and Open Range are a cpl. Of my favs. For Westerns. Glad you liked it.
Loved!

Tombstone is in my top 5 movies for rewatch. The dialogue and humor is hilarious. Val Kilmer got robbed.
Doc Holiday had T.B. ( died from it ). If he was alive today, antibiotics would have helped him.
such a queen what a nice soul, iv been watchin all the reacts lmao her enthusiasm and attention is so good

When gangster's use the term "Roll up on you" can be traced back to events like the first shooting in the movie. Lol
😂

Wyatt and Maddie weren’t married
Oh I’m glad you told me that I thought they was

Great film. You gonna like this one more than you think.
You was right
Having watched a documentary (history-based) Meehan was a full-on turd.
The river scene where he keeps saying no, that actually happened like that. Amazing, but true
Oh wow
@@watchwithjayy multiple eye witnesses attested to it. Said his jacket was riddled with holes but not one hit him.
It's not the cowboys. It's the cow boys. Big difference
Got it 😁
10:00 can you believe that's Billy Bob Thornton!!!!
maddie an Erp were not married.
River scene was ridiculously embellished. But basically true
Oh wow
Latin. There was a time when you were considered not educated if you could neither speak or write in Latin and Greek.
Oh okay thank you for letting me know
Wyatt and Maddie was not married
God western
I loved it
Am I the only commenter?
Uh-uh
Hello 😌
