Although both word pronounced as xian, written form and meaning are different. Ruyi's title 娴 means refined. The posthumous title 贤 means virtuous.
Same as homophones in the English language; ate and eight, same pronunciation, different meaning.

Actually the Xian (賢）they asked for is different from the Xian（嫻）in consort Xian’s name. They’re hoping the emperor still sees their virtue (賢）by granting them that name.

Actually, this Empress ,what was the needs to kill so many heirs . What was the reason that she planned so many hateful deeds.

So it's a bit complicated BUT I'll try and explain:
The first one was concubine Mei, she was pregnant with a child which would be the first child born after the Emperor's ascension. She had this one killed for three reasons: 1) mei, like Shu was actually one of the Empress Dowager's spies, 2) Have Ruyi blamed and 3) to get the first boy of ascension out of the way. As you know this succeeded and the Fourth Prince was born to Jia whom the Empress had in her little coven of witches.
Yi was later attacked because the Empress had a jealous streak with her because the Emperor gave her something lavish ((when she was a penny pinching miser, not that she wanted to be frugal but that she just hated people looking better than her)) and wanted to further the idea that the royal heirs were being harmed by Ruyi.
When Ruyi was thrown into the cold palace and everything happened she had two sons already and thus her position and the lineage was secured so she had no reason to do anything to anyone. However Halian used their own methods against them to get her out.
Also her maid ( Suisian? ) did deeds in her name but I'm not sure about how much the empress knew. Like the first son's mother (letting her die in labor),
