Pomp, you're still thinking in terms of Dollars. Eventually people will NOT take any amount of US Dollars for a Bitcoin. At that point you will have to trade your other real property or your labor to get some Sats. Fiat worldwide is quickly becoming WORTHLESS. In the end all roads lead back to Bitcoin. Either buy Bitcoin now while it is cheap in dollar terms or work for it latter after everything is priced in Satoshi.

Mallers is very smart. Much respect to him, his business, his vision and conviction. I hold BTC but strongly believe it will not be the top digital asset forever. You can’t have a 15yr old technology that makes very little updates, as everything else gets better around it, and think it will win in decades from now. That’s insane. The internet has proved this over and over with different technologies. Time will tell!
