Music is the very soul of this movie, hats off to Noushadji.
I want to pay great homage to Shakeel Budauni whose songs, bhajans, qawwali and naats made it a masterpiece. Dilip kumar and madhubala were incredible artists. But the songs of the movie gave it a vibrant effect. Also, Naushad's contribution was commendable.

Dilip Saheb was such an introvert , hard for anyone to read him . The personality , the actor had , there is no match these days . Even Legend , Amitabh B unko Guru mantey hain . The great actor’s bunch of sisters disapproved Madhubala ji ko . And latter on Saira ji ko bhi . They approved , looks like only Asma ko . And then Modhubala’s greedy dad was there too ! So jealousy, greed won . Shayed Dilip Saheb lost his love , but latter on won a lottery ! Big time ! Saira Banu ! The best wife a husband can have . I would rather call her here an Angel !

DP was nothing but laconic, sleep walking and mumbling in MeAzam. Madhubala carried it almost by her self, aided bu Prithvi Raj Kapoor, who was born to play the role, in Asif's estimation. DP was just an onlooker by comparison.
