My most favourite actor - Dilip Kumar sahab . He was that actor who never did any acrobatics or nonsense element in his performances . He always put his 100 % in every film . Never he chose any silly subject nor did play any idiotic role . His roles were closer to life . Yes , there were other veterans too but while they have their widely appreciated & lesser known films , Dilip Kumar sahab's every film is a classic , even few of them were not very successful . 🙏

What a simple honest man was love it
This interview shows how strong personality he has and how cultured and mature he is. He expects better from the interviewer (no offense ) but it seems that there’s no spark or rhythm between them. Dilip Saab comes from a traditional and cultured background, and I think he was ready to say more about his family relationship with Prithviraj Saab.

Maybe, it's only me, but his deliberate and thoughtful way of speaking in an interview, is pretty much the way he acted in his films, especially in his later years.
Recently, Naseeruddin Shah had rued the fact that Dilip Kumar had not left any lessons or interacted with the next generations, on his legacy of films and acting. Just as Naseeruddin continues to mentor actors in his theatre plays and company, all the while acting in the current filmdom of young directors and actors. Maybe Dilip Kumar deliberately did so, to retain the mystery, and consolidate the fact that whatever the future generations want to imbibe, they can do through his films.
The Man was far removed from his acting legacy.

15:34 People don't seem to realize that when this interview was being recorded, Dilip Kumar was already more than halfway into his dementia. His mind was drifting and wandering. He kept forgetting what the question was. But during all this time, his personality never faltered. He spoke a chaste kind of Urdu and overall what came across was his great culture and sharafat. He was peerless. It is a great tragedy that a man who had excelled at communication and language use, was deprived in the last several years of his life of his speech faculties and slipped mentally into oblivion. Who knows what went on in his brain during those years of dementia when he could no longer even keep his eyes open. It hasn't been clarified as to whether he was suffering from Parkinson's or Alzheimer's or both resulting in dementia and loss of mobility. His tragedy can be likened to the similar tragedy suffered by the great boxer and communicator Mohammad Ali who also suffered from dementia and could hardly utter a word before he sank out of existence. Two of the greatest men both, the likes of whom will not be seen again.
