@@Anonymousdeletedaccount...shhh. Rocksteady didn’t start having writing problems till the suicide squad game, Arkham Knight was absolutely perfect. 🙃🙄.
They were never working on either of those games. WB montreal was originally working on suicide squad until that was taken away from them and given to rocksteady, who was working on an unnamed shooter game. Then WB montreal was working on a batman beyond game with damian very briefly before it was cancelled and they started work on Gotham Knights instead. The Superman game never existed and the Batman Beyond one existed for like a millisecond. Personally I think Damian replacing Terry as Batman Beyond would've been a lot more insulting than either of the games we got, bc it would've meant that the mainstream would think damian is batman beyond and we'd likely never get terry in any medium after that point based on how WB has acted in the past. If you're going to do batman beyond at least do it right.

Arkham Knight could’ve been the first for me if they just removed Batmobile combat only. Traveling in Batmobile is amazing but the fact that they made Slade’s battle a tank fight was a big mistake, still an amazing game
The slade tank fight was so freaking easy. Don't know why you would think it was a mistake. Lowkey took me 3-5 mins to take out the cobra tanks and like 2 mins for slade's tank
This is a big skill issue on my part but driving in the batmobile has to be the most frustrating thing ever cause 60% of it is just me crashing into walls while trying to turn
@@MixShortsHQ I think the problem with it is that it is so easy and i think people icluding me expected a similar fight to the arkham orgins deathstroke. The deadliest assassin in the dc universe shouldn't have been a tank boss.
Goofy ahh strawman We wanted the Batmobile, what we didn't want was a third of the game being the Batmobile, the car does not control well, fighting unmanned tanks is not fun, reducing Slade to a fucking tank fight was absurd especially when Origins had the second best boss fight in the whole franchise against him, the fact that like half the puzzles force you to use the damn car is annoying, the Riddler Races are annoying, the over reliance on the car is annoying, the car itself is not the problem, we wanted the Batmobile, the shoehorned nature of it, having us use the car so often for content that is at best boring and mind numbing and at worst fucking infuriating and badly designed, is the problem. Just because we got something we asked for doesn't mean we have to just be happy with it regardless of quality, if I ask for a cheese burger and you give me one with a burnt patty, stale buns, American cheese and no sauce, I'm gonna complain because it's shit, it doesn't matter that I asked for it because I didn't think I'd need to preface I wanted a GOOD burger, not a shitty one
@@JowoeBunchaNumbersI agree that Slade shouldn't have been a tank and Riddler Trophies used the car too much, but the car controls phenomenally, you just don't know how to drive it. @@JowoeBunchaNumbersthe only valid argument is the slade boss fight which sucked ass I know and I share your pain on that one. But other complaints don’t make sense. It’s supposed to be a third of the game. You have combat, predator and Batmobile instead of just combat and predator. You need to adapt your skills accordingly. Also if you’re getting a car/tank, obviously you gonna race with it. That’s what makes the Batmobile fun to use. If there wasn’t any races then people would complain saying there isn’t much to do with the batmobile. If anything, getting riddler trophies in Arkham knight is not that bad, it’s a lot easier with the Batmobile puzzles. Way better than doing riddler trophies in Arkham city where it’s got awful and doing campaign challenges for a platinum trophy. Stop whining, the game is solid with the exception of the slade fight. Back to the burger analogy, if the entire burger is good but you hate pickes, you gonna throw out the rest of the burger because it has pickles in it? Just don’t eat the pickles, still a great burger.
That comment reminds me when in Arkham knight if you have detective mode on and their using the detective mode scanner and then go behind them they turn around and is like “it doesn’t make any sense it says he right behind me” and then they turn around and then their like “OH GOD!!!!!!”
@erenyeager7967 If everyone shut the fuck up about it being underrated they would understand why it actually isn't. Horrible map design, dead grey world with 0 atmosphere, copy and pasted gameplay of city without the same level of refinement and is somehow more chunkier, side missions are terrible, riddler is terrible. Arkham city was the first Batman game I played, but I still put Arkham Knight over it because of the more emotional story, graphics, and gameplay but Arkham city is still one of my favorites as well. There's actually a leaked voice line in the game files saying Flash has been resurrected meaning all of them could be in a future date and also I don't believe the fight was even flash either because he had all of his fingers even tho Boomer cut off his thumb and even referenced it during the fight so either Rocksteady is inconsistent and forgot or it was a clone which isn't unlikely. But if they bring them back or find a way for them to have been clones or something and not the real league, it'd be lazy but it'd be a way to retcon it and then just make a justice League game
Yea there are alot of context clues that the Justive league are alive somewhere, just that most people don't care and focus on the batman death....which is understandable.
I think you speak for everyone when you ranked Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League in dead last! Because first of all, I will miss Kevin Conroy and still have ever since hearing the news about his death! Arkham Knight was really the best ending to the Arkham Universe Batman and it tied up plenty of loose ends: such as locking away The Joker 🃏 forever. But then Rocksteady had to make this DISASTER of a video game that disrespectfully and stupidly killed of the Arkham Batman voiced by Kevin “The Bat-GOAT” Conroy. They did him a HUGE disservice! I wish that at this point they retconned and de-canonized that CESSPOOL of a game like it never existed! The game play was perfected in city nothing to really improve on which is why they focused on an annoying vehicle because it was the only thing they could change and the story didn’t make up for how annoying the vehicle was to use and how often it was used or the pc port or anything else. that game is tie for worse if people say suicide squad is bad it is bad because they killed their series in knight soo knight is the worst because it killed the series.

imo the absolute worst part of city is the complete lack of decent transportation. you fly at a snails pace and as far as i know there is no way to change that. the map is too big for how slow you move and that makes the zsasz missions a huge pain in the ass.
Just to check, you did do the first few glide tests, didn't you? Because when you complete them, you get the grapnel boost, which really helps improve your speed when gliding around the city.

06. Suicide Squad: Haven't played it. Don't plan to. 05. Arkham Origins Blackgate: A true blue Metroidvania Arkham game for handheld, that was eventually released on console. Albeit way later. It's a decent little experience, and I'm glad I got to play it. I feel like this is one that could grow on me more with time. I only played it fully once, and I do have to admit that I remember the experience eventually getting kinda repetitive and dull. That's not to say it's bad by any means, but it doesn't feel quite like a full Arkham experience. As a side game, however, it is plenty competent. It features about as many villains as Asylum, with Catwoman playing lead. The bosses are pretty fun, but the environments do blend together somewhat. Not exactly a must play, but a nice addition to the Arkhamverse nonetheless. 04. Arkham Knight: I actually really love Arkham Knight, but something has to take the lower spot. There's a lot to love about the fourth entry. Gliding as Batman has never been better. The Batmobile is fun to control and well implemented. It brought back the Joker in a clever way. Plus the graphics are gorgeous! It also went all in on DLC! That said, for all the areas Knight focused on, it fell down on others. Over reliance on the Batmobile, lame bosses, some unsatisfying resolutions to villain encounters, and a lot of very repetitive tasks. 03. Arkham Origins: Without a doubt the most underrated title in the series. The map size increased from City. The bosses were plentiful and fun to fight. Especially Deathstroke, which is one of the very best in the series. That section with the Mad Hatter is my kind of trippy! The detective sections were even more fleshed out. I also just really love the snowy version of Gotham we get this time around. I also think that both Roger Craig Smith and Troy Baker did excellent jobs portraying the younger, angrier versions of the characters! 02. Arkham City: I know this is almost everyone's favorite, and there is good reason for it. Getting to play as Catwoman was a nice way to break up the campaign. She's really quick and nimble...and sexy! She plays just differently enough from Batman to feel fresh. Especially the first time, the size and scope of the world grew impressively from Asylum. Getting to freely glide around as Batman is a perfect argument for why it's better than Asylum. It also has a laundry list of villains by comparison. Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Ras Al Gul, and the Joker, all make for compelling gameplay and narrative sections. Plus there's that whole plot twist, which nobody guessed, even though it is very much teased throughout the whole game. All in all, City took almost everything Arkham did well and improved upon it in every way...almost. 01. Arkham Asylum: Yeah, I know. After everything I just said in City's favor. Asylum may be the most dated of the Arkham games, but I give it mad respect as the original! This was where the formula started. This was the first Kevin Conroy Batman game! This game is also a lot more Metroidvania than it is open world. Which I usually trnd to prefer. The one thing that Asylum really has though, that keeps it at the top of the list for me, is it's atmosphere. Other games have caught moments of it, but none of them have the haunting atmosphere that Asylum has! The creepy music, the dark environments, the maniacal portrayal of Joker by THE Mark Hamill, etc. I think it's also the moments for me. This game has many really good moments. The hallucinogenic Scarecrow nightmares and the game of hide n' seek with Killer Croc are some of my favorites! Sure, you aren't gliding around as much as in the sequels, but here you have a more claustrophobic experience. A lot of crawling through vents and hanging from gargoyles. The other games had this too, but in Asylum, it's not as easy to fly away! I very much believe this game was my gateway drug into the world of survival horror. For all these reasons, Asylum remains my personal favorite. So much so, that I can overlook the low villain roster (although this was a good thing in some ways) and few boss fights. The series may have been improved upon over the years, but this is where it all began!
Why is there a Batmobile that takes up a third of the game, has an entire section of the story ristricting you to the Batmobile, has stealth sections, turns the game into World of Tanks : Batman Edition.

@orion5445 My problem isn't the Batmobile itself. It's how often it's used. It doesn't help that stuff like riddlers shit, and campaign for disarmament is tedious. Actually, I take back what I said. A. remove the tanks and just use it for traversal. B. There is no fixing it, and it's just stuck in the game. C. Take away a chunk of riddlers Batmobile shit, lower the amount of bombs to disarm, and keep Firefly because I don't know what else they could really do. Give Deathstroke a proper hand to hand fight. Idc if it's like a Shiva reskin rather than his boss. Have Batman locate the cloudburst and have a hand to hand fight with the Arkham Knight. Or heck. You could put the Deathstroke fight there.

Cheap Jason Todd reveal, over-saturation of Batmobile-required missions, and horrendous payoffs for Hush and Azrael put an otherwise beautiful swan song at the bottom of the quadrilogy for me.
Dishonorable Mention: Suicide Squad Honorable Mention: VR 4th: Asylum 3rd: Knight 2nd: City 1st: Origins - Suicide Squad shouldn't exist. We wanted Batman: Arkham Beyond. Asylum was my introduction to The Dark Knight. (Adam West was my introduction to Batman as a character.) I don't hate the Titan Joker fight, but it's definitely the weakest boss-fight in the series. I love Arkham Knight. I know the Jason Todd twist was predictable for most people, but I had never heard of the character before this game. The only reason Knight is my 3rd is the Batmobile. It's overused and I don't care for it's tank-like nature, I much prefer the Batmobile to be an actual car. City is near perfection. Amazing story, amazing boss-fights, and the gameplay is perfect. The gameplay in Origins is almost exactly the same as it is in City, and that's a very good thing. This game gave us the angriest Batman we've ever seen, while also perfectly showing off his skills as a detective. The build-up to the Joker twist was immaculate. The end sequence is movie quality. And just to top off, this game has some of the best boss-fights in the series.
I believe SSKTJL isn't the end of Batman. There is secret unused voice saying that the Flash is being ressurected by Brainiac's technology. And the Flash himself talking about being stopped when he and the rest of the league being rogue, and wonder why Waller brought them back, since Bruce once said that Waller hates them. I assume it will also happen with the rest of the league, as for WW, what remains of her can be put in to Lazarus Pit. I just pretend the evil Batman is dumb down version of Arkham Batman because he was just shadow of himself.

The worst part is that RockSteady was supposed to make either a Superman or a Batman Beyond game but instead WB just forced them to make the SS game.
Smh
Pretty sure the rumour about them making a Superman game was false
That pretty much made the directors leave from what I remember
That was a rumor lol

“We want a Batmobile!”
*Gets a Batmobile*
“Why are they using the Batmobile?”
Goofy ahh strawman
We wanted the Batmobile, what we didn't want was a third of the game being the Batmobile, the car does not control well, fighting unmanned tanks is not fun, reducing Slade to a fucking tank fight was absurd especially when Origins had the second best boss fight in the whole franchise against him, the fact that like half the puzzles force you to use the damn car is annoying, the Riddler Races are annoying, the over reliance on the car is annoying, the car itself is not the problem, we wanted the Batmobile, the shoehorned nature of it, having us use the car so often for content that is at best boring and mind numbing and at worst fucking infuriating and badly designed, is the problem.
(hint: if you can't do the 3rd person perspective, try changing the camera. Each of the 3 camera modes makes the car drive differently.)
@@JowoeBunchaNumbers I think we didn´t play the same game. The batmovile is a tool, not only a car. It´s designed amazing, if you think it isn´t, try using the zoom mode in game. No one is complaining about the fact that the other 33% is using the esplosive gel or the batclaw...
The weakness is on Deathstroke, a secondary bossfight; maybe the Ra's Al Gul plot & the end bc everything ended there. They took Arkham City and make it better on everything
@@JowoeBunchaNumbersThe car controls are very well. What the hell are you talking about
And Slade isn't even a Batman villain. He's a teen titans villain. Why the hell is he even He should have been the villain of the night wing d l c instead of penguin
Just don’t eat the pickles, still a great burger.

imo the absolute worst part of city is the complete lack of decent transportation. you fly at a snails pace and as far as i know there is no way to change that. the map is too big for how slow you move and that makes the zsasz missions a huge pain in the ass.
I have to disagree with this one the gliding speed is good enough to cover the size of the map in a fairly quick time
Just to check, you did do the first few glide tests, didn't you? Because when you complete them, you get the grapnel boost, which really helps improve your speed when gliding around the city.
We are dive bombing to pick up extra speed in addition to grapnel boosting right?

Never let him cook again
Wdym doomblazer or rocksteady
@user-go3iw9wv1w So u think suicide squad deserves first are u trolling
Is there a canon reason he can’t cook ?
Is he stupid ?
U nailed it.
Great comment, I thought I was the only one that ranked Asylum first!
There is another which is a psvr game
@@nokill2860 Well, in that case, there's also like three other mobile games as well...
“We demand a Batmobile!”
“Why is there a Batmobile?”
Why is there a Batmobile that takes up a third of the game, has an entire section of the story ristricting you to the Batmobile, has stealth sections, turns the game into World of Tanks : Batman Edition.
@@JustSomeDudeOnTheInternet838
Is a tool, not only a vehicle
Are you mad about a great and fun vehicle? The v12 the cannon the wheels everything was just🫶🏻🫶🏻
@clipsmore5607 It's not fun when lots of the game revolve around the Batmobile.
@@JustSomeDudeOnTheInternet838 For you. You had 3 games where it was just boxing. Why can't you have just one game where the batmobile need to be used a lot?
Besides the threat in this game is much bigger than the others. It's literally a war going on. Naturally the Batmobile would be used a lot.
@orion5445 My problem isn't the Batmobile itself. It's how often it's used. It doesn't help that stuff like riddlers shit, and campaign for disarmament is tedious. Actually, I take back what I said. The problem is how tedious, boring, and repetitive a lot of stuff surrounding the Batmobile is. Deathstroke boss. That one roof you have to get on at the beginning, and revisit for riddler shit. Cobra tanks. Even when you find out you can hack them, it's too easy then. Cloudburst. Firefly. The tank fights in general are fine, I guess. How I'd solve it? A. remove the tanks and just use it for traversal. Or heck. You could put the Deathstroke fight there.

origins has the best story by far
@@eobardsprodigy i disagree, it betrays its own story, when you only fight with 3 assessins in the main story, when you dont really fight with black mask but with the joker (they chose sionis only because he wears a mask so they can hide the joker and make a ñn easy plot twist).
side missions are way less conected than city or knight with main story, the ending is reiterative, resurrecring bane just like alfred a minute ago...

“Red Hood: Vengeance”
Is there a canon reason we don’t have that?
Is rocksteady stupid
Cheap Jason Todd reveal, over-saturation of Batmobile-required missions, and horrendous payoffs for Hush and Azrael put an otherwise beautiful swan song at the bottom of the quadrilogy for me.

Suicide Squad shouldn't exist.
I don’t care what they do. They still made Arkham Batman and the rest of the league wimps. That was not Batman
I'm happy with what they did with bane, Fighting overdosed dane in those prison was horror

I feel like the concept for Suicide Squad game was very good, but sadly the execution sucked
Who the hell wants to see their heroes disrespected and trashed by some GotG knockoffs
@@budgiecat9039villains being villains? You don’t say.
@@Rclarke115 villains are made to lose eventually that's kinda the whole point. Not to humiliate and desecrate heroes to try to subvert peoples expectations. There's a reason this game failed and this is it.
When you got people like Sweet baby Inc involved who come off like villains themselves they're gonna self insert their ideals into whatever they attach themselves to. So it no longer just becomes villains being villains but passive aggressive messaging that these heroes be disrespected and viewed as the villains themselves.
This is why Acolyte will try to claim Jedi were the evil ones. Because like Sweet Baby Inc, Leslye Headland, former secretary of Harvey Weinstein, is a villain herself. The so called oppressed become the oppressors.
If you want a DC game that uses the same concept this game tried but failed to do, then look to Lego DC Villains because that game at least doesn't disrespect the heroes in it
@@budgiecat9039They def did a great job at portraying them as villains. They literally made us hate them for what they were doing. The JL aren't even dead they're clones so the joke is on SS for being so happy they got rid of their enemies when they aren't even dead. You love the lego games story so you're prolly 5 and can't handle Batman losing.
