Just binged the whole series! Commenting to help the boost your channel deserves :> Only one tip - try making some bottles of water and show them to the guide - potions in this game are (cliche, i know) game changing! There are some crazy potions including class specific ones ;-) Getting used to making potions will come in clutch if you decide to try Expert difficulty in your next run, which changes many things from Classic! It's not just "enemies have more HP and damage - it's much more than that :> I'll be joining for the rest of your journey and i can't wait for more!
Great episode, you found the sky islands, which is great. I love how you're progressing so far, it's much more different than usual. You'd find underground mushroom biomes, and the sky islands far earlier, but you also seem to be ahead on some things like finding the place underground in the jungle ( not saying you couldn't have found it early, but because the map is always so big, some people struggle with it, me included) First time you're really unlucky too, that teleportation potion really works like you imagined it to be, but it kept moving you to places you already knew lol I cant wait for you to find new things about the game. Some of them are really simple, right before your fingertips such as [REDACTED] a [REDACTED]. Others are a little bit more complicated, such as [REDACTED] a [REDACTED] inside the [REDACTED], or like [REDACTED] a [REDACTED]
I always love to see you comment :) I figured the potions teleported me to somewhere I already knew so I didn't bother with them anymore, and I totally would have went to the sky island's earlier if I had a means to get up there, without like, building up super high. I cant wait till I [REDACTED] [REDACTED] [REDACTED] [REDACTED] [REDACTED] a [REDACTED] [REDACTED]... yeah
@MetalAssassin0 you know, I've been thinking, you mentioned you played Minecraft a lot, and in Minecraft, while there are a bunch of potions, using and making them is something you have to go out of your way to do, which can be boring and not doing so doesn't make the experience any worse for you. I have to ask, do you think your experience with that game might have affected how you perceived potions in this game? Because 1) the guide has definitely told you about how to make potions at this point And 2) you have acquired like 70% of the potions available just by playing the game normally, which is one of the ways the game encourages you to try them, since they're not exactly a rare resource. And they're far more important to the overall game experience than you might initially think...
Minecraft totally changed how I see potions, I know some of them are really useful in Terraria but I was saving them, I don't know what for I guess, the splunker potion, the speed one, the gills one, and the gravity one I have been using more
@@MetalAssassin0 well, I should tell you that you should totally start using them more. Obviously some potions are only useful based on what you're doing (like, you wouldn't use a spelunker potion and go fight a boss), but crafting them is really easy. You can both do it at an empty bottle on a flat surface, which you already have, or that weird looking alchemy table you got from the dungeon. (Which is the better option since you have a chance to save ingredients with it instead of the empty bottle) Most potions require a flask of water and crafting those is just like you did honey bottles. Just stand near water. After that, ask the guide what can you do with bottled water, and go from there. Most potions are really cheap to craft, and can use some resources you no longer have a use for, since you got "better" ones. You should definitely make some and use it to your hearts content :)
Those fights were brutalllll, chasing you until you died lol I see you finally got wings! I was wondering when you were gonna get the upgrade, i like how you were trying not to leave any black marks on the map when flying, it was very satisfying. Lets go part 10! >:)
Im pretty sure ther s a minor boss at this point in progression that the guide doesn't tell you about, you mind if I give you a vuage, guide style tip on how to start fighting them?
@@MetalAssassin0 The summon is not hard to get and you can get it while gathering another resource that is a material for stuff used before defeating the metal bosses
@@MetalAssassin0Here's a Guide-style tip: The Caverns beneath our feet glimmer with the forces of light. Perhaps something found within could be used to get the attention of a powerful creature?
It is the only boss in the game that can only ever be spawned by using its summon. Unless you randomly mine the right object, witch is decently rare for a new player, you won't have any idea that this boss exists.
Those teleportation potions did you dirty, they *can* put you anywhere on the map xd
Well, anywhere except for that structure in the jungle.
I have a bunch left over, I should try again then
this is a good tip lol, an answer to something I hadn't even thought of yet
I don't think destroyer was supposed to chase you across the world.. scary

hmmm....
well all i have to say is
fish when the moon is red
I did a whole lot of fishing in part 10/11 but never during a blood moon, I didn't even think of that
@@MetalAssassin0 "Good" things happen when you fish during a blood moon 😉
if you got a bloody tear, you can try it now
I do not have a bloody tear, sounds like a Castlevania reference. But I will fish during a blood moon

@@MetalAssassin0You can out your current wings in a vanity slot if you find more effective ones.
@@MetalAssassin0 yeah you can putting them in clothes slot to change any wing look
oh yeah, forgot about that
what about making a 45 minutes longer than the normal what you thinnk ?
I am trying to make a 45 minute video at the moment, I don't know if I have enough clips for an hour long one, unless I play more
@@MetalAssassin0 alright but i believe on you that you can do it
