I just lost my grandfather the week before Thanksgiving and the way you described your grandfather reminded me of my Oupa so much. He was a garlic farmer and the best person in the world. It's crazy how much impact our grandparents have on our lives. Sending you lots of love this holiday season. We are the way their legacy lives on.

Hi Mary!! Have you considered getting some of your grandfathers honey encapsulated in jewelry? I know people do that with ashes and blood, I’m sure you could do it with honey! Then his honey would always be in the world with you

I get this feeling so much. The loss of my grandmother (we lost her in 2016) has been really hitting me these past six months. She's the one who taught me how to crochet and just doing it helps me to feel so close to her. My older sister is going to have her first kid and it's been tough processing that he will never get a stocking made by my grandma- who made all of our stockings. When I have them, my kids will never have a stocking made by her. I completely get that feeling.

I get so excited when I see a new video from you! I’m sending love to you and your family. I lost my grandfather the day after Christmas of my sophomore year of college (also 2017). Grief is so strange it didn’t hit me until two weeks after the funeral. It will still hit me randomly, especially when I hear him in my dad’s laugh. Cry when you need to Mary, we appreciate you being so open 🤍
I’ve lost one of my grandmas in 2011. Not one day went by since then, where I haven’t thought of her and not one week, where I haven’t cried. She was such an amazing, beautiful woman that teached me so much and made me the woman I am today. I bet your grandpa was just as amazing as she was. There is a beautiful saying: Where there is deep grief there was great love. And grief is just love with nowhere to go. I don’t think your pain is ever going away fully but i’m a firm believer that it isn’t supposed to. He lives on in your thoughts, your tears and smiles when thinking about him. You are his greatest legacy. ♥️

Oh I love the little tooth story - had a similar situation with my first puppy - because of the scare my stepdad had the canine baby tooth fit into a gold necklace for me and it’s my favourite jewelry piece now. Maybe that could be a way for you to keepsake Fergus’ tooth too 🫶🏻

One of my grandfathers passed 10 years ago & one passed in 2021. I think about them every day still ❤️ grandparents are so so special so I felt this so hard. Knowing my grandfathers will never meet my fiance breaks my heart every day.

Omg my husband is the same way! This year he really prioritized his health and he’s already lost so much weight and gained muscle and so devoted to eating for his goals. It’s low key annoying to me too and I always support him but I definitely see it pushes me as well. All that to say I feel you! 😂🙃🫶🏼

I lost both of my grandfathers months apart in 2019. My papa grew his own garden and always kept up with these specific trees. When the trees died bc no one could keep them going, I lost it.

My husband lived in Bristol as a small child :) I also know how you feel as I lost my grandad really unexpectedly in 2017 too and he never got to meet my new husband either sadly but I know they would have loved each other
My grandfather was also a beekeeper. I don’t have his honey anymore and every time I eat honey now, it just isn’t as good. Nothing will be as good. Thank you for sharing the story about chewing on the honeycomb ❤

Mary, I felt your pain when you spoke about your grandfather. Grief is something I personally also struggle with.
I know you have history with religion and by no means am I trying to convert you or convince you to do anything. I just hope you can find some comfort knowing that God promises us we can see our loved ones again. (Acts 24:15) They’re not gone forever.

The only reason I can’t ship to Canada currently is because of the high shipping costs - over $30 per item. I wasn’t comfortable placing that cost on the consumer and unfortunately there are no other options right now. I sincerely hope in the future there’s a way to do it with minimal cost to the customer 🤍
