Biggest change is that I've only heard Shepard scream "I'VE LOST SHIELDS" a few times

Nice that they gave fans the option to stay with the elevator ride or skip it. Choices matter.
Also allowing the option to take photos in a photo mode and the choice between clunky mako or smooth mako. This is as close to a remake a remaster can get, and to think, there were people doubting BioWare’s efforts. They went above and beyond

@@garrettstephens91 well that was out of everybody’s control. Even Bioware’s. They tried and the source code was corrupted, then they tried contacting a certain company, idr the exact details but they didn’t have the code either as it was also corrupted. So it’s not a choice really, as it was out of their control, but if it was a choice they’d have included it. They were disappointed. It wasn’t their fault

And the best thing about those elevator conversations is that even if you don't skip and listen to them the ride is STILL faster than the original game.

Best single change: No xp penalty for using the Mako to fight enemies.
No longer cheesing by using the Mako to lower shields and health, then getting out to finish up the weakened enemies.

My biggest problem with the Mako isn't with the Mako itself but the abundance of unscaleable hills on the side mission planets.

The Galaxy Map theme on repeat is my jam.
You missed the out of combat jog update in ME1, now you actually move faster instead of the camera pretending you are going faster.

Yeah there's a lot they could of added that would of made the game better. Her photo even see her face if you romance her. Let miranda join the team after horizon if you romanced her in 2. Could of added there version of the happy ending mod and had an option to have it active or not. But nah we're change camera angles just in case someone looks at mirandas bum

The files get corrupted so they couldn’t put it in the game.
Hopefully they take the time to get it in the game at some point. It isn't exactly a huge DLC. They could get it done if they really, really wanted to.

I'm surprised nobody's asked Bioware if they fixed the bug with Conrad Verner!
The ME3 retcon to fix that was pretty brilliant, so I'm thinking they may have left it in.
Considering all the small bugs that are still present like the infinite money and morality score glitches, and as Yggdrasil said the retcon in ME3 where Conrad acknowledges that he acts the same way regardless of your actual choice, it's safe to say it remains broken.

Does hitting rank 30 in Legendary Mode(xp scaling) still give you the bonuses in ME2?
The targeting reticle is there for untrained snipers in original ME1 it's just so big it's off screen

4:21 The original ME3 already had code that gave players a leg up if they had imported their previous saves into each new game. It's been possible for years to get the "best" endings without multiplayer, with the release of the extended cut making it easier by reducing the EMS (Effective Military Strength) required. I'm glad they're doing something for Galactic Readiness though.
The Mako bounces less, but steering is still weird. The forward, back, left, right turning, are relative to where sighting is looking, not relative to the front of the Mako.
How did they sort out all of the achievement stat bonuses from the first game? Or did they just take them out
Biggest change: Thresher Maws! They’re much harder now, especially on insanity.
They look amazing now too!
No XP penalty for killing them with the Mako now so no reason to dismount and finish them off on foot. Or for anything else, for that matter.
They were scary.
Does Mass Effect 2 still gives you bonus money and resources and starting at level 5 if you get to max level in Mass Effect 1

What about changes to mass effect 2 and 3. Everything mentioned was for mass effect 1. Can you pause during cut scenes on the pc this time around. What about changes to the cover system in mass effect 2. Or the frame rate dips in mass effect 3 when moving around the citidal.
As he said, it's because ME1 was changed the most as even by the time ME2 came out it was already outdated and janky. There were basically no changes to 2 and 3 worth mentioning outside of the galactic readiness changes due to the lack of multiplayer.

ME3MP still is the best multiplayer I've ever participated in. Too bad they didn't reboot it.

Individual squad orders were supposed to be in Mass Effect 1 as it was showcased in E3 2006 before being removed from the final game in 2007.
No....i only noticed that now. The stairs in me1 are still in 2d, with a 3d texture.......

Do all skills of one character go into cool down when a single skill is used ( like in ME 2 & 3 ), or do all skills have separate cooldowns like in ME1?
No changes in any of the game in that regard. So 1 is still 1 style, and 2 and 3 are 2 and 3 style.

No thats changed. You can get all specials charms and intimidates in one playthrough now.
me1 is soooooo much better now than it was before. Totally worth the purchase, the game just feels so smooth and the updated hud and enemy bars really make a big difference
Fun fact about the old game's sniper rifle usage on classes that is not infiltrator - the reticle doesn't disappear, it just get so big you don't know it's there. Check out the top right corner when he switch to sniper rifle lmaoo
But why oh why did they decide on using Kelly Chambers ME3 model for both 2 & 3, instead of her ME2 model??

Also many diffrent weapons got more unique fire modes, now we have slug shotguns and superfast recoilless shotguns. Not to mention burst pistols.

The only thing that would make a difference is changing the entire Act 3 of Me3. This is actually a chance to fix it but of course they wont

And don't forget that Unreal 3 files are all baked so mods won't work on legendary edition unless the modders do it all again from the ground up.

No XP penalty for kills in the Mako anymore so no reason to whittle down Thresher Maws then dismount and finish off on foot for more XP. Same for destroying turrets with sniper rifle etc.

Does the any weapon goes change apply to mass effect 2 and 3 as well? Loved some of the other classes but hated the lack of weapon choice with them.

ME2 you were still restricted to your class's weapons. Though towards the halfway point you could choose an additional weapon type.

That’s a NO! It’s great they made changes to have better gameplay but ME 3 ending was horrible and disappointing. Why make a remake if you still have a bad ending. Oh wait…. They added additional dlc to fix the ending but did not. Don’t waste your time.
@@williamreynolds8322 it's not a remake it's a remaster...... to change the ending then they would have to basically make a whole new game instead of ME3.
So just to clarify, they changed the galactic readiness by removing the multiplayer, but not actually changing the fact that it essentially always boiled down to the same cut scene only with a different colored explosion? Because it sounds like they removed one of the coolest features from #3 without actually changing the things about the ending that actually pissed people off which undermined the whole system of saving the story development throughout the games
It includes the extended cut, and with the rebalanced readiness it's easier to get the other ending cutscenes that were so hard to get before most people never saw them.
Missed opportunity not having this on the Switch.
Not every single DLC… Pinnacle Station is missing!
That one's source file became corrupted and thus they couldn't put it into this version. Didn't really anything to the game, save for the Hammerhead, which could be used in other DLC content anyhow.
