I've fixed the mega-fast jaw movement and slightly slowed down the head turn movements. Dodge has very inconsistent pressure every time I air him up, which is probably because his compressor isn't all that powerful. When I have more space and all that I'll get a more suited compressor for him, but that's not #1 priority at the moment since I'm taking a while to figure out what my next project is. Remember Dodge is my first go at a full-bodied character and whatever I do next will be much better in terms of quality. Hence why I call him the prototype.
i think your gonna need to work on the tom beak moving up too much but you made the mega fast jaw slow down a bit so i hope it turns out better since it is a prototype not trying to be rude or anything just suggesting
@@Sea_of_Waves yeah lets hope! all i do is make masks for animatronics out of garbage XD but i did buy a colorado animatronic a long time ago but that was just for shaping my masks and im selling it away because i just need the head not the eyes or eye lids.
A pneumatic cylinder setup composed of Tailonz cylinders, air tubing, Baomain valves and a controller specifically made for animatronics called a Microblue24. I've thought about doing a tutorial for a while, just have to set aside time to do one.
The body was a wood project. We went to home depot and got lots of planks, cut em up, and drilled them together to resemble a body. Then we used door hinges to create joints so cylinders would be able to move different parts of him. Some areas are more awkward than others, but at least it moves.
@@Sea_of_Waves could i get a link i cant find the exact ones i saw in another vid im looking to build a animatronic because i have been wanting to make one for years and its just a passion i have for animatronics
Really all the movements were mapped to BB's equivalents (jaw was jaw, strum was strum, etc). The main things that were off were the non-retracting head turns and the eyelids (which were blinking on beat for some reason). I'm blaming the head turn for the mad stiffness

what animal is that i wanna know
The animatronic looks amazing!
He is kinda cute!
kind of interesting to see the fact that he ran off beach bear
Oh, yeah!
Next to run him on Billy Bob data
he looks great and the data seems to be running really decently!
Dodge beak go flop
Also, very interesting to see!
Is it ok for his top beak to go up when the bottom one hits it
If it happens too fast it can cause the jaw to overtime hang downward more, but I've fastened it enough to where it won't do that
ok

Yeah dude! It looks a lot better now, just hopes it stays like that next time I air him up

Hey I just barely discovered your channel what do you use? I’d love to *try* and make my own animatronic

SO Creative!! Reallly cool !! 😎 🌠
I know you used the colorado animatronics head but what did you use to do the body??

To me , it’s the music track that’s not my favorite-love the animatronic.
For me it’s not the track that’s the problem, it’s just the way the signals translated onto the bot
Woah, he looks so cool! Nice work
Silly
Where did u buy the macvalve and the air cylinders
Amazon
@@Sea_of_Waves thx
Lol it didn’t work out nicely
No it did not
what valves do you use?
Baomain. They are one of the first results of you search up valve bank on amazon

I can tell it didn't work out for you
I’m curious what channels associated with what movements. It isn’t terrible, but stiff at moments 🤣
