क्या आपको लगता है कि male stars अपने looks को लेकर obsessed नहीं होते?
बिलकुल होते है.
Gym trim कार्तिक आर्यन भी अपने good looks, silky hair aur sunny smile के लिए jaane jaate हैं।
लेकिन कार्तिक का अच्छे लुकs को लेकर एक अलग नजरिया है। उनका मानना है, "कभी-कभी अच्छे लुक्स का asset, actor के लिये liability भी हो जाता है! क्योंकि फिर आप सारे रोल नहीं कर पाते. आपको handsome characters ही करने पड़ते हैं।"
जब मैंने कार्तिक का interview किया, he made a surprising revelation. Kartik said, "I really don’t want to be in the good-looking slot! I would rather be known as an actor।"
And sure enough, Kartik walks the talk when it comes to this belief. भूल भुलैया3 में भी, भूल भुलैया 2 की तरह, फिल्म के ज्यादातर हिस्से में कार्तिक किरदार में ही रहते हैं और डिजाइनर कपड़े नहीं पहनते हैं।
हाल ही में release hui चंदू चैंपियन में उन्होंने अपने stylish baal काट दिए और छोटा simple हेयरकट ले लिया.
और कुछ साल पहफे, Pati Patni Aur Woh मे एक common man बनने के लिए कार्तिक put on weight till he got a slight paunch, grew a moustache and sported a hairstyle with side parting.
Kartik total conviction के साथ दावा करते हैं, "अगर मुझे किसी दिलचस्प किरदार की पेशकश की जाती है, तो मैं पूरी फिल्म में केवल एक outfit पहनने के लिए भी तैयार हूं।
तो क्या है कार्तिक की star अपील का रहस्य? कार्तिक confidently कहते है, “10 प्रतिशत looks, 30 प्रतिशत talent, 30 प्रतिशत भाग्य और 30 प्रतिशत दृढ़ता।"
