it's most likely monster clay or something like it. it's clay specificly for making models that are going to be molded. you can get a giant brick of it for pretty cheap
Ali Was Here Hey there, I'm sorry for my super late response. The clay is simply plastecine! I buy it from a moulding a casting shop in Australia called Barnes. It's about $25 for a huge brick of it. You could also use the colourful stuff from dollar stores for kids, same thing!.

Can you replease the plastic spoon with other element more ecologic? Becouse i dont think that spoon are used. Maby wood spoon. Maby you think you dont damage the planet with this. But think if 3.000 people copy this idea of scales. Them there are more than 150.000 spoon plastic parts or 300.000 on the trash.Only for one plush dragon dragon each time. If they make two or tree hech one we are talking abaout 900.000 plastic spoon parts. And that is so much!!😱😢

Thats a great idea, for skin you can use a variety of things, silicone, latex or fabric. This puppets face was cast in silicone. :)

What type and brand of clay did you use to make the head in the very beginning?
I think its polemer clay but to get that much your gunna lose some mony😕😕😕

Rebecca Brown it's more than likely not completely clay, and has a tin foil base. I'd say that's only about 5 dollars worth of fimo
