Thanks for sharing. I never realized the courthouse was a landmark. Learned something new.

You're welcome. I randomly found out via RUclips that this was a landmark as well. It was definitely a moving experience.

It would certainly be disturbing to me as well but it is something that should disturb us. Sorry you had that experience!

It's not cool that the employee refused to give the tour that you were assured would happen. But I'm glad you didn't let that one person ruin your experience. Thank you for sharing this part of history.

I agree. It was ridiculous. This trip was a lot bigger than him. You're welcome.

Thank you for sharing your journey on the civil rights trail. It's a shame the employee didn't do his job but it was good you got to see it nonetheless. This was an important moment in Black American History and is a reminder of how far we've come and how far we have to go.

Thank you. The media gives enough shine to those demons. I do things differently over here. They can be left in the past.

Just a little info: His mother insisted on an open casket so the world could see what those animals did to her son. This pumped up the Civil rights movement throughout the United States .Thank you for sharing.

She did. It worked too. It got my attention many many years later and inspired this trip. You're welcome brother.
