      Lol, no doubt. Should have me on to guest patch, and show how much of a dog's breakfast it might end up sounding like.
      Sure, you've heard how good it can sound. Now, here's this.

    To avoid clicks in the mode cv changes, probably using it for "call and response" sequences is best where you can send the mode change cv in note gaps on the seq. (For example from a very precise cv sequencer like the erica back seq mod lanes or the metropolix) - that mode change could save people from having to buy or assemble a whole extra voice. Man i like that module.

    I watched hundreds if not over a thousand videos in regards to the modular world, and this one I actually liked to watch and listen to, from the start till the end, most certanly top 10 !!! The module itself is a monster, and gives so much flavour to the sound WoooW ❤ Liked your introduction as well, easy to understand and follow. Saved in my Modular playlist, pressed 1like 🎉

    with my HP filter and low pass filters, i can make really "crispy" sounds from regular waves, like seeking the "bass" frequencies higher up and your speaker starts walking.

    i have a DIY ultra slim 12 DB HP filter, slimmed down to 4hp, just I/O and cv input. the circuit is proper and resonance design, some Roland flavor.
    the cutoff band is something like half the audio spectrum, it cuts the sound below and allows you to reach timbres in wave forms that make speakers vibrate.
    Than it enters a low pass filter, like Frequency Central Raging Bull or my own Korg ms-20 clone (5hp) pretty cool cut from below and above and leave some small margin spark .... and i have a 4 channel EQ, DIY.

    "This is a demo video, a demonstration of sound and capabilities, not a review, where it is assumed you accept the opinion of a third party"
    Huh? A review is the reviewer's own autonomous. An advertisement is when you give the company hype (see the BlancNoir guy, who just shoots pretty, wide-open-aperture eye candy). Reviews are the lifeblood of cultural critics everywhere in newspapers and magazines, and any hint of compromising the the independence of the reviewer is looked down upon.

    • @mylarmelodies
      @mylarmelodies  11 месяцев назад

      Indeed - That’s right. What I’m saying is this is a piece of content where I’m just showing what it can do, it’s a paid demo - aka an explanation and demonstration of features. I nonetheless assume you to use it as part of a tapestry of information you use to form your OWN opinion. That includes reading actual reviews, web copy, other user opinions, etc. I’m not saying reviews are bad, in fact I’m just confirming that this isn’t one. Even though it may have lots in common with one (and I wouldn’t actually be making it if I didn’t actually recommend the product in it).
