- Really nice condition for this postwar Mercury! Styling changes would have to wait to the 1949 model year, and that would be a banner year indeed!

There's a lot of room for luggage in this one! Nice car! 😀
Hey, guys! Yes, this is back in the day when you actually had lots of room in a trunk! And it included a full sized spare tire! Thanks! :) Jack
Very nice post war Merc. This body / seating configuration would appear to be the same as what was called a club coupe for Chrysler products of the era.
It really is interesting how the car companies developed "names" for their models! "Sports" suggested a rather rugged, masculine identity....and you mentioned "Club" and that would suggest a rather socially elevated gathering. Not everybody would be invited to the "Club"! Thanks! :) Jack
Love the front end design of the Merc vs Ford of that time period
Hey, Steve! Yes, that Mercury front end had the size and complexity that you'd expect of an upscale car! Thanks! :) Jack
cool❤❤
Hey, Michael! It really is cool, and the condition is amazing! Thanks! :) Jack
Very nice car in great shape.
I think these surviving coupes are very rare! It's a beauty, and the first '47 coupe I've seen! Thanks! :) Jack
Hey Jack!! That's a very classy car!! Don't think any of these made their way to Australia.
Hey, Tiger! It really is classy! In another two years, it would be a whole different ballgame! Thanks! :) Jack
Nice to see a ‘40s car.
Hey, Mick! It's getting harder and harder to find one that hasn't been seriously modified...they're the ones I'm interested in videoing! Thanks! :) Jack
