I love all things arkane.
nsa legit You were first, good job
I thought the reason why here was no Chaos mechanic was due to Billie’s paradoxical nature because of the main game’s time travel subplot, resulting in her unable to affect chais
Yayyy you’re back Professor. We missed you
It's so cool to see you again😍
Welcome back Professor!
I played Dishonored 1 like a year after it came out, and I loved it, it was probably my favorite game at the time, and then I played the second when it came out, I really loved how much smoother it was and the story was pretty good so I’d say that game is amazing too, I loved both, and then Death of the Outsider was announced, but idk why I never decided to play it til recently, but my god is this game amazing too
Don't know if you'll read this but wanted to chime in with why I kinda love that DOTO doesn't have a Chaos System. Basically it boils down to how it fits within the series thematically, particularly Daud's story, Knife and Witches asks the question: Is Daud worthy of redemption after what he did? And ultimately I think this game answers with a resounding: Yes, everyone is worthy of compassion and redemption, even the outsider who has caused so much chaos in the world. In this way it feels like the lack of a Chaos System is a rejection of the idea that there is a "point of no return" in which High Chaos corrupts a playthrough
it's good to see you again professor
Yaaay I'm happy to know you appreciate the game as much as I did! My favourite of all, too. Billie is kind of protagonist who resonates with me :)
The books that follow afterwards flesh out the world even more, though YMMV on the quality.
There are books?
@@Metalkatt Three of them. One set pre-Dishonored 2 following Corvo and Emily, one set during Dishonored 2 following Daud, and one set a year after Death of the Outsider following Billie. There are also comic books that tie into them, somewhat. The wikia has a summary of the first two.
Bought this game a while back and i'm currently waiting for my new PC to arrive so i'm gonna watch this later
I wish they did one more death of the outsider like they did with the knife of dunwall only this one would be called the veiled terror like the book we would also see Morley
Hello Professor! Watching this after completing every version of SF3.
It was _Beely_ fault that the overseers found us, that wasn’t daud
69th like, this vid needs more likes, but I'm good with this for now.
