@@edwardruiz8965 I’d go with the V12HT, here is why. First, it’s a super well built wheel and basically one of the most weather proof EUCs out there. Second, compared to the V10F or V11, the V12 is faster and can go longer distances. And lastly, the V12 being a non suspension wheel forces you to learn good riding posture and respect for the EUC. Additionally, the V12 is sized similar to the V10 and actually even easier to transport than the V11. Lastly, the V12 is a beginner-intermediate wheel, meaning you can own it forever and will always have use for it. The V12 and V10 have never needed any repairs when I owned it, they are bullet proof wheels. I’d stay away from KS wheels. KS simply do not know how to design their wheels. Take the S22 for example, to keep the story short, what a cluster f. From unprotected critical components to bad welds, people has had many issues. Now the 16S and 18XL has had much better track record, but simply put, InMotion and Veteran are the two top companies to go for right now. With Begode being the more extreme company, if you are willing to trade quality and consistency for more powwwweeerrrrrr!!! 🤣 Most importantly, when you start to learn, wear gloves and helmet (bicycle ones will do). But as you start to consistently go above 15mph, start to wear some of your motorcycle stuff (helmet, jacket, shoulders, knees and toes.)
@mr_wrongway Thank you so much for everything you do! I have been binging your videos for the past month! I'm so torn on my first ECU should be! I live where the temperature climbs to 115 degrees in the summer, and I want an EUC to commute to work. 30 mile range is ideal, 25 or so MPH, and I want something that can take a beating! I was gonna ask if I should get the KS-16S, InMotion V12 HS, InMotion V10F or the KS-18XL. But after seeing your videos you'd probably recommend the V10F or the KS-16/18XL depending on budget? Let me know I'm so eager to join the EUC community! Keep doing what you're doing, definitely more subscribers will come! :)
I like unicycle very much, I learn a lot from your video, it is a very fun hobby, you look very cool when you controlling the unicycle so well, thanks a ton, he he.
New rider here, I recently purchased this wheel and have already had issues. However, it may not be due to the wheel but, instead, on rider inexperience. I received a driver communication failure message after running a diagnostic test and it says I may need to replace the driver. I was in the settings up phase and I didn't calibrate the wheel before going out and riding? I was having a difficult time balancing naturally but, im wondering if it's part in parcel to my inexperience on how to set it up properly and, the balancing issues of the wheel. . Hopefully, that's all it was and Ewheels will make the replacement for me as I'm not mechanically inclined to do so myself. But, so far, I must say, both Jason and Eric at Ewheels have provided stellar customer service support even over the phone. However, they advise its best to communicate via email which for a guy like me takes sometime. But, I'm getting more comfortable. 😆

Hmm, i dont get the logic, sorry. The v13 is announced with 300Nm of torque, has a special motor, and about 3 times the Mosfets aand Capacitors. When it even does the half of what IM promised, it will be a torque Monster, especially for a 22 inch wheel
Thank you so much for making this video Mr. Wrong Way ! My boyfriend has been looking to get into the hobby and jsut wants to have fun zipping around not really commuting. he was debating between the RS19 HT and the V12 HT, considered them nearly equal outside of weatherproofing/build quality. Would you recommend the RS19 over the V12?
Well if he wants just pure performance the RS is the way to go. What’s his weight? If he’s under 170-180ish the RS HS would be a better fit and allow him to go faster.
@@bordapatrol4930 both are hilly capable, esp. for his weight. Main difference between RS19 and V12HT is imho water resistance level. It's basically dangerous be caught by rain on the RS :)
“New wheels” : Inmotion v13 looks to have rickety suspension, Kingsong S22 has a potentially lethal KNOWN engine issue, Veteran Abrams cuts out, Begode Master dissolves when crashed. Woohoo!
Just a heads up about a potential error when going steep slopes: I bought my first wheel V12 HT about a month ago, after seeing lots of your videos about EUCs, but somehow missed the crash video and it made me regret my purchase. after around 300km I had no problems, but I pushed more on doing inclines, and the wheel started messing up with same warning as in this video after an incline that was too steep. Unfortunately it also got out of balance after such errors (was no longer standing up on forward/backward axis), and using spin kill + recalibration would reset it to veritcal position. BUT one time this trick did not work and i got stuck with disbalanced wheel that kept showing the error on screen after reboots, resets, recalibrations. It even started accelerating to max speed (80kmh) when I tried rebalancing it vertically by lifting in my hands and accidentally burnt the tire because I lowered the wheel to asphalt (with spinkill button still being pressed!). Recalibration functions failed with error on the screen and on app. I had to send the wheel to the manufacturers and hopefully they will fix the software bug. Too sad that I will be without a wheel for a month, since I really enjoyed those 300km.
Hey friend. Understand that inmotion is beautiful plastic, lights, but all this is not serious. This wheel is for fucking driving to work and nothing more. It is not given to him to climb hills and mountains. just understand and accept it. Like it or not, it's true. Buy a gotway without suspension and enjoy the fact that the wheel rides and rides and rides despite the slopes. without any squealing sounds from the motor and overheating. I compared it with a thermal imager and was surprised how perfectly cold the HT engine is in the Gotway.
@mr_wrongway how is it going with this wheel? I had a mosfets issue on high speed on v11, then I heard about the issue with V12.. Are there wheels finally safe?
Fantastic review on the torque characteristics of this wheel. With that said, I'm curious to know what you think of the V13 Challenger. Great job as always and enjoy the Amped games along with ThaBlackCobra and others..
I always thought the Sherman Max to be a hybrid wheel. A highspeed wheel with a bit more torque. But to accelerate faster than the V12 HT. That's weird because the Sher-MAX is a lot heavier than the V12 HT.
Nothing weird going on, the Shermax just has way more power to offset the weight. Just like a car with 7.2L V8 easily leaves a car with 3L inline six in the dust, yeah, the 3L engine is lighter, but literally has less than half the displacement.
Good video More neg then pos on this one. Not that I was considering it as I am looking for a suspension wheel next. But Inmotion emphasizes quality all the time, is this thier biggest failure?? Cheers
I'll have to make sure.. but what sort of ride do you want? Off the line, in theory my ex.n speed loses to a v12 torque or non-torque, but by experience I can lean a LOT even on the speed version.
Man, I was almost convinced I was getting this wheel this morning but now... idk. I just want a reliable 100V daily-driver that I can run errands with, is that too much to ask for? The V12 comes so close to that if it weren't for it's poor QA
@@Fixingthingz4u Thanks! I'm curious what you think of your high-speed variant. I was initially wanting to get a HS cruising wheel but with the V12 being a 16" wheel I'm not sure I'm going to be going speeds that would justify getting a V12 HS over a HT variant. Now I'm thinking I might get a V12 HT for errands/riding in the rain (lots of rain in the PNW - I'm going to want a wheel that can handle getting a little wet) and a Sherman or Master for speed cruising. I just need to be able to go at least 30mph/50kmph or else I may as well just keep my 16X.
I have enjoyed my V12 HS immensely. I’ve had it since November ‘21. This is my third IM wheel (I’ve owned a v8, and own a V8F for training friends and family). This V12 is a second batch wheel. I tested it thoroughly for the MOSFET cut out issue. It’s been fine. I now have over 1100 miles on the wheel. It is my near daily commuter wheel. Indeed I can cover the 8 miles to work (and back) at least as quickly as my car and it’s a whole lot more fun. When I first got the wheel, it had a loose screw under one of the side covers. Which was disappointing, but easily fixed. Otherwise it’s been very reliable. Good luck on your decision.
@@prestongabel1513 Thanks for the info! I've just about decided on going with the HS. My last concern is that I'm taller rider and fully geared up I'm probably about 200lbs. I'm hoping that's not going to be too much weight for the HS variant. Do you have any advice on that matter?
@@etcetera662 Unfortunately, I'm not taller (5'8")... to go with my >200 weight. :-O I'm running around 205 these days, but have been considerably heavier (I was ~230 near the start of the year.) I rode to work this morning and hit 42mph with a slight bit of down hill. The wheel is generally NOT the factor in my speed, the "pucker factor" tends to be the real restraint... it's crazy but the difference between 38 and 40 (or faster) is noticeable to me. Things just happen faster. I tend to ride at about 38mph as my peak speed which is quite comfortable on good road. Again, this is my comfort limitation, not a limitation of the wheel. In actual practice I believe my weight has more impact on my range than it has on my speed, especially on hilly terrain. BTW, my son has a V11 and the suspension on that wheel is nice for bumps etc, and the larger diameter wheel does feel more stable but I still prefer my V12 with all it's amenities (speakers, side lights) and it's nimbleness. I hope this helps. Good luck. I know it's a big decision.
My V12ht just did the acceleration malfunction and threw me on my butt tonight. So be careful! I got mine last month brand new and it dropped me like a hot potato. Don’t trust it still!
I like the V12HT, but I still have a weird tilt problem (tilts up and stays there for a while after a turn or long incline). What settings do you guys use?
That is a safety feature, after the long incline. It is probably overheating and tilts up so you cannot ride it. But it is weird, you get it after a turn. My Veteran Sherman tilts back after overheating.
@@BunnyslippersEUC checked the temps, definitely not overheating. And the angle is just very slightly off. I stop, do the angle calibration in the app and it's fine until the end of the ride. It's super weird.

Adam which ones were used here? Commuter/Off Road? Split mode? I also noticed that the pedals inclination is important. On flat +1 or 2% is interesting, climbing -1 or -2% seems more easy.
I also want to know if he used commute or off road! I went on a mountain bike trail on my v12 HT and had no issue with hills and dirt. I thought I went up a 45 degree hill. I uploaded a video of it if someone wants to correct me. Sorry if it sounds like plugging but I don't do RUclips for money. Just for showing friends.

Most importantly, when you start to learn, wear gloves and helmet (bicycle ones will do). But as you start to consistently go above 15mph, start to wear some of your motorcycle stuff (helmet, jacket, shoulders, knees and toes.)
In your opinion what one would you pick V12 or V12HT and why. I have the V11 but want more distance.

Well if he wants just pure performance the RS is the way to go. What’s his weight? If he’s under 170-180ish the RS HS would be a better fit and allow him to go faster.
@@Impecable.. About 165 so HS might be the way to go, It it hilly in MA but not crazy like san fran or something

This review just proves that getting the HS version over HT is a better option.
How are the V11s with their new MOSFET, anyone know?
Now what about the power pads you have the red ones what would you say about that and what’s the name of them on this euc

When are you planning your first US or Canada based review?
Fantastic review on the torque characteristics of this wheel. With that said, I'm curious to know what you think of the V13 Challenger. Great job as always and enjoy the Amped games along with ThaBlackCobra and others..
Adam, what version fw was it when u had the crash? Has it been fixed in the latest 1.6.19 version? Thanks
@@94e88 that's weird because they both have the same 2800 watt motor

Man, I was almost convinced I was getting this wheel this morning but now... idk. I just want a reliable 100V daily-driver that I can run errands with, is that too much to ask for? The V12 comes so close to that if it weren't for it's poor QA
Honestly dont let his review sway you its an awesome wheel i have the HS and use it daily 80KM shes been rock solid and i ride harder than Adam.
