You are the hardest worker I know. I pray for health and safety for your animals as well as for your precious human family. Occasional times of R and R are so vital and I hope you can work some into your overwhelming work schedule.
The EarthWay planters are rough when there is any old vegetation in the way. Still better than planting by hand. The goats are looking good. Take all the time off for yourself and your family that you need. They come first.
How old do I wein the kids off the mamas? Also how much do I ask for the kids that are with unregistered boar doe mama with registered purebred kiko cross buck
I banned all my male kids and keep the heard all together. I used to fence line wein but that takes up to much pasture and I have found that the kids will grow better if you just let the moms do the job. I would check out what people are asking in your area when it comes to pricing. I sale the majority of my kids into the meat market right now. Once I am happy with where my heard is with good moms and good kids I may start selling privately. When I make that move I want to be known for good stock.
We use the same seeder and what we found works easier is I’ll pull it with a small rope while my dad pushes it.
