For 30 years now I can’t hardly get enough of GP and Blancpain!
I’ve always thought the 1945 was the perfect alternative to the Reverso although GP really seems to be minimizing the 1945 these days. Only 20 years ago you could pick up a new 1945 in white gold, copper guilloché dial, with blued dial hardware for just a few thousand.
That Fleur de Lys tourbillón that’s turned into a Blancpain mainstay - that’s the best looking tourbillón cage anywhere!
I remember when 18K, hobnailed Calatravas went for $7K new! PP has come an incredibly long ways since then! And that Officer’s watch case - I have always loved it. Make mine in steel, salmon or pale blue parchment dial, three hands only, and with blued steel dial hardware. Of course, that yellow gold is compelling too!
    Great show today!

How is the Pelagos 39 listed at $4950 which is over list? My AD had it for sale just last week. I went with the Black Bay Ceramic at the end. The Pelagos felt a bit like a toy watch to me, not really sure why. Maybe the combination of the Titanium weight plus the square hour markers. There was something about the Black Bay Ceramic. It was love at first sight that when I looked at it, I felt like it had to be mine.

Time stamps and great horology. Thanks.
I own a Blancpain leman 2100 in yellow gold with matching bracelet. Not as cool as your Tourbillon but
Every time I look at it, I’m amazed at what I see.

I wish Blancpain would bring back the Leman. Such a good watch, especially like the Aqualung big date.

Am I right in saying the last model shown of the Patek Cal had a white date disk? This one was black 👍🏻

I don’t think the 11.59 range will ever completely shake off the stigma of the disastrously pretentious PR/launch and cheap looking early models. Pity really, because they were never as bad as they were painted.
