      How many broken bones and trauma can one person take from a job..... = Walmart..... lol
      That's why they are always hiring at Wal-Mart.
      Freezer inventory and maintenance. They broke my back. 1 year of physical therapy and my back will never be right again.
      They workers are Walmart company ass licking psychos....an if you fart it better be to Walmart company code standards.../ they make up shit nit pick and literally change everything on a daily basis...just to bitch.....
      Elevators from Hell sounds just about the same.....
      Best of luck with Walmart.....
      Lowe's is the way to go or Sam's.... way better.

    Speaking as someone who hates elevators, modem elevators have a lot of failsafes. If a cable breaks, it's much more likely for an elevator car to be propelled to the top of the shaft by a free-falling counterweight than for the car itself to plummet.
    Also, you can stop a closing elevator door with your bare hand, people often do. No elevator door would ever be designed to be able to crush someone

    The devil in the elevator reminded me of a dream I had. I was on a plateau and this guy was staring at me. He was wearing a round brimmed hat with a flat top like a plateau, a trench coat, and boots with a rounded toe.
    I couldn't see his face or the rest of his body even though his trench coat wasn't covering it. He was looking straight at me with glowing red eyes that were staring daggers into me.
    He lifted his hands into the air and with that I flew into the air like a puppet on strings. Then he moved his hands to my left and I flew over the edge of the plateau. Then he let go.
    I drop maybe 200 feet smashing into the ground. Then I threw up cheerios and milk before waking up on the floor of my 8th grade science classroom floor.
    My first thought was maybe nobody noticed. So I jumped to my feet and realized I was surrounded by my class and the teacher. This made my head spin and I would of fallen again if it wasn't for my teacher.
    I've had this dream multiple times but don't always hit the ground or throw up cheerios.

    I have heard some serious horror stories about escalators

  • @Stardust_7273
    @Stardust_7273 Год назад +4

    I wish I wasn’t disabled so I could take the stairs 😥 I’m scared of escalators. I don’t do malls, they rarely have enough elevators except like in the middle of the mall, and escalators at all the important places. Oh, and I can’t get my walker on and off the escalator fast enough. 😒 They really don’t think about disabled people.

    • @mattymayhem1232
      @mattymayhem1232 Год назад +1

      They do think of disabled people that's why they have elevators. I was disabled for 9 months because I developed deep vein thrombosis and I couldn't stand or walk for more than minutes at a time because my legs felt like they were on fire. Mind you I was 31 at the time and I'm decently fit but I had to use a walker and I would alternate with a scooter I bought. I'm rambling anyways the point of this comment was to let you know I've seen older people and big people who have walkers ride backward on escalators and once they get to the top they just take a step back and lift their walker and walk back at their own speed. Of course, you have to pay attention getting close to the top but it's all about having a game plan on how to get around certain obstacles and just committing.

    • @Stardust_7273
      @Stardust_7273 Год назад +1

      @@mattymayhem1232 I've been disabled for years, and I'm telling you, when you have to get off the escalator fast, it's not fast enough to get a walker off, I can't MOVE that fast in the first place. I can't even get my walker onto an escalator safely. They even have signs saying don't take strollers on the escalators either for the same reason. And people on scooters definitely cannot use escalators. I did point out that they have elevators, but they're not at either end of a mall, they're in the middle, so if I come in through one end and I'm on the top level, I have to go all the way to the center of the mall before I can make it down to the bottom level. So say the store I want is much closer to where I entered, I would have to double all the way back from the center of the mall to get back to that store. I have been to so many places where the building either doesn't have an elevator, or there are additional areas where a walker won't fit, etc. I just went to NYC, and there were literally stores where the only entrance was stairs, and they have the nerve to put a handicapped accessible sticker next to this entrance. And don't get me started on assholes who use handicapped parking spots because they "just needed to run in for ten minutes" etc... You were disabled for nine months, try doing it for 10 years, that's how long I have been dealing with this BS.

      Not to mention that there are not nearly enough disabled parking spaces that are actually accessible for wheelchair users (little to zero loading zones) and the asshat motorcycle riders who seem to think that the loading zone is their personal reserved parking space. Like if I hit or knock your bike down unloading, that’s on you for parking there. Idc if your bike cost you 40k. Go park it in a proper space then.

    when I was little I remember seeing a bit of some story on the news about some kid who sustained a horrible injury on an escalator at the mall, like not life-threatening or anything, but I remember they showed one of her shoes all chewed to pieces by the machinery, and her foot completely bandaged in a cast, and my imagination did the rest. I don't recall any of the details as to what exactly happened, and I might not even be correctly remembering all of what I did catch (this was all well over 25 years ago and I was no older than 7), but I know I definitely developed a fear of escalators that I still carry to this day.
