- Changi Airport now has a jewel.
You may think what an airport can have other than ‘airport’.
Changi Airport has a round shape shopping mall, which has 40m magnificent water fall in the middle.
I guess it really looks like a jewel if you look down from sky.
The waterfall runs 24 hours, coming down from a 40m high ceiling. It’s breathtaking!
I was skeptical how magnificent it can be but I was totally wrong.
This waterfall goes down to the basement level 2 and basement levels have glass cover around the waterfall.
Very unique experience!
Thanks to the waterfall, the sunlight reaches to the bottom of the building!
This place has a lot of ‘easy to approach’ brands rather than high end luxury brands and lots of eateries as well.
Even without going into Singapore downtown, in transit passengers can now enjoy almost all the Singaporean dishes here in Jewel.
It has Fairprice Finest, a big supermarket chain, so you can buy most of the things that you want to buy from a supermarket.
It doesn’t really feel like an Airport but, really feel like a shopping mall so I guess many local will go as well.
In the evening, this waterfall turns to a laser show.
I didn’t get to see this time but I will for sure have a look next time.
I guess people will now say something like, Lets’ go for a movie at the airport, or go for a lunch/dinner or, go for a fun.
If you are in transit in Singapore and have some time, just go for Jewel!
This will be another landmark of Singapore.
Singapore is really good at this kinda things.

싱가포르 관광객이 혹하게 하는 거 참 잘하는 것 같아요.
I was there 2 days before official opening. As with all new places opening, the food prices is more expensive. That's why I eat at T1 basement foodcourt after the tour

제가 100% 정확하기 알진 못하지만 싱가포르의 물은 기본적으로 말레이시아에서 사와서 정수해서 사용합니다. 말레이시아와 관이 연결되어 있어요. 그리고 내리는 비를 저장해서 사용하고요. 싱가포르 정수처리 능력이 최고라고 하더군요. 전기는 기본적으로 LNG 가스 발전을 하는 것으로 알고 있답니다.!!!

, imported water, purified reclaimed water known as NEWater & Desalinated water. Water from johor dam is managed and build by Singapore water agency PUB.
Most of the water comes from local sources.
