Finebaum is a total hack.
It's only weird to Sportswriter types that Michigan and USC are playing early than the average person. This is the way it should have always been. There's no more hiding behind the bushes boys and girls. Now, everyone is exposed. I love it and its not weird. We are going to have a real champion.
exactly my thoughts. the realignment is the best thing that’s happened to cfb. who woulda thought that if u just have all the best teams play against each other in the regular season there won’t controversy as to which college teams belong in the playoffs.
Who cares what the Alabama propagandist thinks
The level of hate Paul has for Michigan is staggering. Michigan gets a huge win with a new head coach the year after winning it all and all he wants to do is sing praises for Lincoln Riley and talk about how great it's going to be when USC is really good in the big ten.
He heaped praise onto Michigan when they beat Alabama in the Rose Bowl
He is just a tool like a lot of other sports analysts.he will never give credit to Michigan
@@MrBobbyz24 That's what it takes for Paul to give Michigan some credit - they have to beat his beloved Crimson Tide. Praising Michigan in that spot was necessary. It was a round about way of praising Alabama. "Michigan must be great. Otherwise, how could they beat Alabama?"
I know how much he hates Michigan, but CHANGING your opinion of Lincoln Riley because of THAT game? The game where USC o-line got their QB virtually invited to a hospital? The game where Riley couldn’t gameplan a defense to stop a team who couldn’t throw? A game where Riley couldn’t gameplan his offense to muster any sort of air attack?
In a game Finebaum thought Riley would win easily, what possibly could be the justification for giving him so much props so as to change his opinion of him as a coach???
What negative statement about Michigan did he actually make? He just said he had more respect for Lincoln Riley and Texas.
Michigan played a much better game vs SC than Texas
Michigan just out played USC. It's definitely going to go down as a classic
The Ref's won you the game homie
@@JuanZuniga-f4orefs are winning for michigan now last year it's was sign stealing what's next year gunna be field conditions
Fraud Finebaum.
Firebaum needs a woman so bad.
Exactly what I was thinking 😊lol
I don't understand how this guy has this job. All he does is cut down high level coaches.
"It is not the critic who counts..."
Physical football but Michigans best player on defense is from California the irony
Finebaum is insufferable. The arrogance and obvious bias is nauseating.
Yo what is he talking about???? I think he is getting old because I do not understand his logic
Nice tee shirt Paul
So stupid we had the lead and the ball all we had to do was run the ball and kill the clock! FTFO✌️
Instead we ran screen plays and shovel passes??
@@ghanstarrxl exactly and both of those were incomplete passes that stopped the clock. They would not have had enough time to go 90 yards and score with a QB that can't throw the ball
why apologize when lincoln riley still choked the game
It’s a completely different ran program .. don’t be stupid
@@madmaxxcrosby 73 passing yards. missed tackles. they basically lost to Army
@@GoatedAtNFS Tell me you don't know anything about football without telling me you don't know anything about football.
Shut up 🤡
Dude must not have seen that offensive line on Saturday .. yikes
Lincoln great for choking up a game!! I got them losing first round of playoffs!
It revealed Lincoln Riley is not going anywhere Michigan didn't pass the ball and won you know nothing !!! Please leave sports ;!
It’s funny I’m completely on the opposite end than Paul. I believed SC would beat LSU but I am not a believer in Lincoln Riley. And it is even clearer after the Michigan game why. His mistakes as a HC continue to plague him and his offense lacks creativity and a true identity. Unless you say the identity is an O-line that doesn’t block well in the passing game and the run game is being forced at opposing teams strength. I see the consistency of that. The SC offensive coordinator has been exposed twice. His players bailed him out against LSU and they couldn’t against Michigan. He is not elite at play design or play calling. I’m not going to get into his HC flaws but I hope all can see where I’m going here. Think back to how many times plays broke down for Caleb, and the QBs at Oklahoma. They made his offense “elite” not his design or calls. It’s not the offensive system or schematics.
2H Michigan drives...3 and out, 3 and out, 3 and out, fumble, 3 and out, 10 plays TD. Last drive...1 miss tackle for big gains and it came down to a 4th and 2 play.
And Thats How Michigan Played Last Year Too. We Just Had Better Players On That Team. But Thats The Same Formula
@@PMKruyeah Michigan could run the ball last year too but they could beat you passing the ball as well. And their defense was more stout than this year. USC missed a couple of tackles that cost them the game but it’s hard to say the defense lost the game. Questionable play calling in the first half and the last drive by USC played right into Michigan’s hand. But USC has a defense this year no doubt.
@@alfredmayes5005 for sure, USC's defense is WAY improved over what they had the last couple years. Mostly change in schematics, but also better strength and conditioning playing a role.
USC was trying to replicate what Texas did to Michigan's defense, but Michigan made the adjustments necessary. That defense looked a lot closer to the Mike MacDonald and Jesse Minter defenses of the last 3 seasons than it did in the first 3 games.
Wink Martindale learned and adapted.
After Will Johnson got that interception, he was out for the rest of the game. That's a big loss for Michigan's defense, but they managed to do enough to hang on for the win and the offense got its act together after not being able to produce for most of the second half.
Gritty win for Michigan. That's what they make you do. Fist fight in a phone booth. It's not pretty or flashy, but it works.
CLR hopefully adjusts, goes back to a strategic run game, and let pass game personnel open up . USC good team needs better offensive calling . 51 passes in a game shouldn't so many , maybe 25 -30, passes a game, and an additional 25-20 running plays
He’s still a better coach than Sherome Moore. Moore is being carried this year by Harbaughs coached players
Boohoo
Michigan and USC are going to win 8 games this season
Maybe Michigan. USC will go undefeated the rest of the season.

For Paul to say what he just did about Ohio State's schedule shows that he's just a bitter ignorant old man anymore. Meritless and void of the knowledge required to speak on the subjects he talks about. It's ok for Georiga to do it because reasons he can't explain but let's just gloss over that, yeah I bet, SEC$$$. Ohio State had Washington on the schedule but let's not look into it at all, let's pretend like it's a big secret and Ohio State did this intentionally because again, reasons. Ohio State was the program that started playing big games early 30 years ago. No team from the south reached out to anyone north of the Dixy line. That wasn't a joke and never has been. Paul won't be crying or will be in a few years because Ohio State has reached out to both Alabama and Georgia, not the other way around, and scheduled a home and home with both programs. And yes, we have a lot of fans that lead to all kinds of narratives but at least ours can and do, brush their teeth.
UF looked "good" playing this 2024 SEASON WORST SEC TEAM and that includes Vanderbilt who normally holds that record 😮 UF is just waiting until SunbeltBilly buyout is as low as possible this calendar year in order to fire him for the least amount of their $$..that guy is still gone before Thanksgiving unless it cost the same amount of $$ tofire him by Halloween 🎃 😅😅
UM gifted a win from the B1G Referees.
Sorry. Half the refs were pac 12.
😂
😂😂 losers always blame it on the refs when they can't handle the fact that their team didn't get it done.
The losing team never sees the officiating mistakes that go against the opponent. The refs missed calls for both sides. Reffing in general in college is just broken tbh.
U lost to a qb the whole world knows can't throw...why not load the box? Don't blame the refs. Blame ur OL. Blame ur OC.
Stop acting like these “different type of B1G athletes” win national titles because they don’t.
Except they just did. 15-0 including a win over the SEC champion.
Haubaugh was 2-20 vs ranked teams before stealing signs
