The best cooking and tasty fish ever and not over cooked.
Your voice is so soothing, and that snapper looks delicious. 😋
Looks good my friend is making soup with fish I bought tomorrow so I'm going to send this to him😊😊😊😊 blessings from Toronto
Sounds great! Bless!
Granny taught this man how to fry fish...just like my granny did for me...lovely
I'm from the UK, we usually eat fillets of fish. Strange seeing entire fishes cooked for me, but we do have scale-on fish more than the US. We cut the heads though XD
You ever tried Smoked Kippers my friend? Texture to die for, melts in your mouth. Perfect with Scrambled Eggs on generously buttered toast. A perfect morning meal before a big day. Season liberally with Pepper, and have a big drink for all the oil. ;)
I've never tried Kippers, sounds good but red herring is relatively popular here. Doesn't melt in your mouth though 🤷🏾♂️😆
I'm American, but my family were Italian immigrants. We love whole fish! The meat around the head is the best part.
Very good
Brown stew fish is one of my favourites but hard to find a good one in London!! I'll be trying this out for myself!
I'm american but my wife is from El Salvadore and she got me cooking whole fish all the time. Great video!
Yes. Granny taught you really good!❤❤❤❤
Americans with Geechee ancestry cook whole fish just like you do. We eat it often, and we don't prefer fillets. We want whole fish. Something we cook it with cornmeal.
I made it this day! Ty chef!
Bless up!
Big up yuhself Breda well done🙌🏾💛🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Looking good..😊
Very informative I really enjoyed your teaching methods
Your commentary! second to none brudda. Food off the chain, nuff love... Keep doing your ting, love and respect for sharing and teaching ❤💪🏾🔥
Amazing content. Well done 👏
Yummy. Love the presentation
You right about us not frying it hole they like the head cut off lol😊
Wow ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Lovely video. What substitute can you use instead of the ketchup?
Looking really yummy and delicious my brother no joke
Amazing recipe. WOW!
Beautiful 👌🏾😋😋.
Perfect 👌💯
Thank you for this recipe. It is fantastic, precise and the presentation is beautiful. I am going to make it but I am considering adding okra. Would you, recommend okra or no?
sure okra is a great addition, personally I like to add it to the pot late so it's still crunchy instead of slimy but you can't go wrong with okra and fish
Where is my share?? Looks yummy 😢😢
Looks great! I’m adding okra.
Yes! that is the way
Yum
Good job bro
Fish looks delicious. I would pair it with yam and green bananas
Would work really well with the sauce fr!
Can i add fish seasoning to the fish? Or just what you did is enough
Sure👌🏾
Can you make the version with the orange sauce?
Maybe it was punpkin or squash. I dont even know.
🤷🏾♂️I'm not familiar...idk either
@@feedandteach it's pumpkin...
Fancy Cat made it on Grace Foods Channel.
I just remember having it in Ochi and came back tryjn to make it.🙂
I just watched the episode... extremely funny 😂
He made steamed fish with pumpkin, Irish potato and okra...I'll add it to the list!
@@feedandteach it was hilarious 😂... Yes do.
Can't wait to see you version
❤❤
I like how you made the sauce but a bit too dark for me.
yup...skipping soy sauce or using less or a lighter one would fix that
I have seen some people leave the scotch bonnet in the oil the entire time when frying. The pepper invariably turns black. What is the reasoning behind this?
The scotch bonnet infuses flavour into the oil and flavours the fish a lot better, I'm not sure why people leave it in until it turns black because it eventually starts to burn and taste off.
This works for king fish too?
It does
Is soya sauce the same as soy sauce?
its the same..."soy" is how most Americans say it and "soya" is how most British say it.
😍
Can i use browning sauce instead of soy sauce
Yup
@@feedandteach how much you think to use of the browning sauce like 1tspoon ok?
And can i use talapia fish for this
Add a teaspoon at a time until you get the colour you want
Yes
Looks great. However, I thought when h r eyes are red the fish is not fresh…
Fish have a wide range of eye colours even in the same species. Dull, pale or cloudy eyes means the fish is not fresh
It looks good BUT it's not traditional. It's has notes of yard but it feels like chef school not Granny cooking
To much soya
maybe...but if its delicious it works
Too much soy sauce too much ketchup
