sad to see isabelle used, so well, for the role, with no future in 9. guess we can get a cameo of her in the big fleet that shows up, with her bff doom guy.

I was gonna say, WHY DID YOU SWITCH THE ORIGINAL OLD LINK DESIGN?! IT WAS AMAZING! But then you used it for The vision of Link in his prime on Crait, which was an excellent choice: it honestly fit it much better.
Oh, and the criticism parts made me laugh SO. HARD. I was DYING. 😂 That, coupled with your usual plethora of references, awesome animation, and character designs made this one hell of a treat. And Isabelle as Rose made waaay too much sense.

Krystal is playing a new character who is ignored by the main characters and dies in a heroic sacrifice. Seems somewhat fitting, given how Krystal is currently floating in StarFox canon-limbo.
It is sadly......partly doesn't help that she was originally a rare character. And also her last playable game experience really hurt her character.
@@robthecatwillshire7429 I have the feeling that Nintendo were never quite sure what to do with her after having Rare pretty much just dropped her in their lap saying "She's part of the crew now, here are a few plot hooks, have fun, we out!" and Nintendo going "DASFWIPPITKEFLARGLE, what? Um... what are we supposed to do with this?! Generic romantic interest? SURE, THAT WORKS! WHATEVER!"
Krystal deserves better. They way the main characters ignores her is just wrong. She’s part of the Nintendo family. She deserves a chance.
In regards to Holdo, Holdo's character wasnt the best. But she was in the right, imo. Leia's last command was demoting Poe, and Holdo didnt have to divulge any info. For all the resistance knew, they had a spy (since at they time they didnt know first order had hyperspace tracking), and as i just said, Leia's last order was demoting Poe, so she had reason to suspect him, so Holdo was making the right call. But since we're seeing it from POE'S perspective, we think she's some sort of idiot. Could it have been handled differently? Yes. But does it make logical sense? Also yes.
Do we even acknowledge Starfox Command as Canon? That had like 10 differebt endings with no real ending.
Honestly we can just pretend Command doesn't exist and wed be fine as long as Nintendo stops doing the Andross war story constantly (a bit biased as a Star Fox Assault fan)
This entire series has been constructed perfectly. The animation, references, comedy, everything. And I love it. Kudos to you my friend. For making such an enjoyable series

Even as a Last Jedi fan, I was fairly amused by the very 'subtle' signs throughout this video that you weren't exactly a big fan. Still, I have to really appreciate that you still choose to make the cool parts as cool as they deserve! (I mean, you managed to make Ghostbusters 2016 into a neat-seeming video game, so The Last Hero would've had to be cool.)
I have a feeling that your opinion on The Rise of Skywalker might be similar to yours on this film, but I'm still mighty excited to see what you do with it. Not only do I rather enjoy it as a closing to this saga, but it has so many action setpieces that I imagine you'll end up having to split it into two parts just to get all the best bits.
No wonder it took so long. I thought it got cancelled due to the negative reception of the original film.

As a fan of Episode 8 I just have to say: this was amazing! Pleia flying back to the ship via a series of rings was an inspired touch. And if possible, Old Man Link was even more grouchy than his movie counterpart. Kylo continues to be portrayed 100% accurately as well, I see. :D Thanks for putting in the effort, even if you don't love this movie like your other projects!

I remember watching the actual episode 8 for the first time, and imagining how this version would have to go. Such as "Oh dear, Pit Damien is going to be in trouble" and such. I did think Isabelle was a cute choice for Rose, and you definitely put in a lot of work. It was a fun watch, even if I didn't really like the actual movie.

This one was genius! I loved the switch scene where it showed all of the miis resembling the directors. I also really loved the Super Paper Mario references because that is my favorite Mario game and I think it’s kind of underrated.
No matter how anyone thinks of the Movie I am just glad to have another smash Wars, they are and continue to get more and more creative with integrating game characters and mechanics into the plot of the Star Wars universe.

@@ticoliro3392 are you refering to the prequels? the sequel trilogy is far worse than the prequels. directers seemed to go in without a plot direction, ep7 was a rehash of ANH... ep8 went off the rails in an effort to subvert our expectations, and discarded established character traits for O.C. fan fiction that rian wanted. ep9 was all over the place plot wise, pacing absolutely sucked, palpatine seemed almost thrown onto the movie to save it... and the explanation for his return? NOT A SINGLE THING is said in the movie other than he returned... somehow... after the deathstar blowing up WITH HIM ON IT. also... the massive inconsistant plot holes in that movie. you could tell it was rushed in the reshoots... which makes me wonder if the original shots were better or far worse than what we got.... all in all, ive grown to appreciate the prequels alot. the acting needed better direction at times... and lucas did make it focused far more on the politics and dialogue and stuff... but it had a direction. it had a goal. it entertained. it respected the history of the franchise (except midichlorians. screw that stuff.)
so... all in all, disney could have done us fans right and delivered a quality product. but they failed... they failed us. and the prequels are better by far in comparison to the sequels...

This was very funny to me despite the fact that Last Jedi is my favorite of the new trilogy.
Disappointed that the prequels haven't gotten the nintendo treatment, but to take away from the pure passion and genius in these animations would be criminal! I love them all

This channel is criminally underrated. I’m honestly surprised this channel has less than half a million subscribers considering the effort put into each of these videos
The algorithm favors frequent uploads over quality uploads unfortunately. Makes it difficult for channels like this to grow without getting lucky and being mentioned often on larger channels

I love how the throne room fight here was better choreographed than the one in the movie. And seriously, it is great to see you sticking with this project, despite how abysmally bad the sequels ended up being.
I loved the little jabs you made at Episode VIII (such as choosing "Begin Subplot" over "Explain Subplot") and the way you did the red guards in Paper Mario style.

Three years later and we finally got it. Sure, I thought The Last Jedi wasn't that bad but I can definitely say this is better than the actual movie. I absolutely loved this. Can't wait for Episode 9 and potential Prequel Trilogy (can't wait to see what you're going to do with the Hello There)
