Really really good playing! I just read through all the comments and decided to pull the trigger and get I’ve been checking these guitars out for a while now, but everybody seems to love them
Nice playin man. I like what you were doing with your RG. I’m killing time waiting for mine to get here today sometime. Listening you you play yours reinforces my opinion of that guitar.
Very good review. I have been at it for several years and own two vintage Gibson and Fender guitars that I bought in 1990. I do think Ibanez has been very progressive and forward thinking in their designs. I have this one on order. thanks
Awesome... how long have you been playing? Yesterday I ordered the Ibanez RG652AHMFX-NGB, but am just a noob at the guitar... The Ibanez will be my first electric (that I can play). Looking forward to her arrival... ✔

What a great axe! What's the weight of this one? Is it under 7lbs?
Just bought one of these a few minutes ago looked on RUclips for any reviews and saw yours. How are you liking this guitar after many years of use? Boy they retail for quite a bit now I'm sure you paid less than I did.
Years ago I was close minded also. It has to Gibson or fender or it was crap. I love blues, classic rock heavy rock. I have a 04' vintage modded SG Standard. It rock the world. But then the halen bug bit me. So I scored this 1996 Ibanez rg270dx off of ebay. It has a Seymour jazz at the neck and a Seymour JB4 Trembucker at the bridge with coil tap and an original Floyd rose trem. The previous owner went to town on this baby. It sings as nice if not nicer that my SG. I was impressed at the craftsmanship of this instrument. It weighs almost 8 lbs. Cost me 300 beans. Ibanez is the guitar of guitars for any style of music you enjoy. I love the rg652ahm but $300 vs $1200 I'm happy as hell with the 270dx and I can afford the rg652. Why pay all that money when mine plays so similar to the rg652? Believe it or not. Rock on!
The Prestige line are all consistently good guitars. With the lesser models such as the 270dx there are some great guitars but a lot of lemons as well. Not saying your guitar isn't great - it probably is - but the tolerances and quality control on the Prestige line from Ibanez is in another league. The fret work for example is in a completely different league to your guitar as will be the quality of the frets / material used.
this is only my opinion, but if it were a real ESP, I'd say go for the ESP ANY day over an Ibanez.... BUT, I look at the Eii ESP's like a glorified LTD. It's NOT a REAL ESP. So with that said, go for the Ibanez
@@MarkThomasMusic I respectfully disagree. An E-II in my opinion is every bit a real ESP. I think they are closer to the custom shop side of things than the LTD side of things. I own an E-II Eclipse and my biggest fear is that the Ibanez won't be on par with the E-II quality. I'm very interested in the Ibanez because it's so different from what I have. I'm just worried I will get it and wish I had gotten another E-II. So I will probably just buy it from Sweetwater since they have such a good return policy.
@@300WINMAG360 So what did you get? I'm in the same predicament as you were only I own some Prestiges and have never even held an ESP or an E2 in my hands before so I don't know if I should get another Prestige or an E2 M2. Half the people talk badly about E2 and the other half say great things about them. I want something different and that E2 keeps calling my name.
@@rocksteady5200 Well if it says anything I just bought my 3rd E-II this week. Best quality guitars I have ever played, and I have owned a Prestige. I first bought an E-II Eclipse, then I bought an E-II Horizon III. I just recently sold the Eclipse to buy an E-II Horizon NT-7B. The Eclipse was top quality but I don't love single cuts. I would say get an E-II for sure. The guys that bad mouth them are just mad that they don't say ESP on the headstock but they are literally the exact same guitar that was once labeled the ESP Standard.
Pedro Andrade Comparing this to an Iron Label or Premium is like comparing a custom shop guitar to a Fender Squire or an Epiphone guitar. This guitar is custom shop quality. It's worth saving your money for THIS over an Iron Label or a premium.
Your improvisation is unbelievably nice

I have one too but sometimes I'm too afraid to play it! Lets hope Ibanez keeps these gorgeous aesthetics up. Good taste sir and nice playing :)
Beautiful axe man, very tasteful playing and tone. Thumbs up!
Those are amazing guitars.. but man I love your playing!
Ricky Curtis: x2 my friend... ✔
Yes it is Beautiful. it will be my next 1. Same exact guitar and color. Simply Badass.

Great view and great playing.

awesome sound, those pickups are a great combo, which processor are you using?
Nice playing man. I see you like Maiden. Do the pickups sound heavy enough to play metal? Thanks.
Una preciosidad !!

they did right by putting an Edge on!

is it a dream to play?
Should I get this guitar or an ESP E-II Horizon iii??

@@300WINMAG360 That's great to hear. Thank you for the response. I was definitely leaning towards the ESP as I already have enough Prestiges.
What's is the street price for this model out of curiosity?
Ryan Dolecki $1400
+MarkThomasMusic that moment when you can buy the guitar but you can't make it sound as good as you do!
+Mr.CuSO4 I agree... totally hate bastards like Mark who can play a 2x4 nailed to a piece of plywood and they still sound better than me.
Play some Separate Ways Baby 🤟
Looks sick man! How does it compare to the premium and the iron label quality wise?

I’m trading my left kidney for this baby! Anyone interested?? 😂
No, but I'll take your Pancreas. I'm Diabetic LOL
Do these come in left handed?
What effect/gear were you using to get that specific sound?
1:46 =DDDDD
I hate that cream binding in combination with the maple neck and the turquoise colour. Does not match at all!
