- One of my favorite meals to order at a Korean restaurant is Kalbi Tang (Short rib soup). The key to a good Kalbi Tang is a wonderfully smooth clean tasting beef broth. The short ribs should be fall off the bone, and you will love the taste of this hearty soup!
This recipe normally takes about 2 hours over the stove to to make, but the Instant Pot cuts that time in half! Plus I don't have to babysit the stove which incredibly valuable time I can spend watching my kids instead!

Thank you Thank you Thank you for another successful meal! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it .. we won't need to go out for restaurants now for galbitang!
Made this tonight and it was a bit bland, had to use oxtail since my local Asian market was out of beef short rib. We added some fish sauce and considering adding in a beef cube, or beef broth instead of water for more flavor. 😊
I love your videos! Thank you so much for yummy recipes😁 where can I get the black strainer?? My sink is just like yours and it looks so much easier to strain after boiling meat.
I will enjoy this. Thank you.
Thank you for this recipe! I just tried it. Though my one definitely needs more salt 😅
When I order this at a Korean restaurants, it is purposefully served with salt on the side. They explained to me that they want you to add your own salt to taste.
Can you tell me what the name of the black bowls are and where to buy them?
Korean News They are called 뚝배기 (stone hot pots)! You can buy them at most Korean grocery stores in the US or Amazon if you search ‘dolsot’. I can add a link later :)
