When I started playing Gacha Life 2 since it's released, I find this one difficult to get used to it until I get the hang on it. So far, I really enjoyed it but sometimes I feel like Gacha Club is easier to make a video. But whatever the reason, the important thing is that we still enjoy playing gacha games. 😁👍
I remember when I downloaded it on my phone I was having trouble with it but since it's on my iPad now I'm able to do more with it I really enjoy Gacha
It’s mostly the bugs that frustrate me 💀 Bugs: OCs deleting when the app is closed Constantly freezing OCs duplicating randomly The list goes on and on 💀 The ratio option was removed which I honestly don’t understand why. Designing OCs in GL2 for me isn’t so bad based on my personal experience, it’s just the bugs where OCs are gone when you never deleted them!
The only thing that frustrates me is that Luni wont make the furniture in GL2! Like I know that it’s difficult to make the furniture..but it’s been possibly ALMOST a YEAR! There’s NO way it’s taking him/her a year or couple months to make furniture..But I can’t be talking since I don’t know how to even draw a table- but still..He/she could have at least made SOME items[aka furniture] into the GL2..
The reason why the game still hasn't been updated is because Luni is working on a different game. No idea who long that will take, but seem gacha life 2 won't be updated until that game is finished.
I honestly sticked to gacha life all along, I even found gacha club too frustrating bc of the amount of options- what I found sad abt gacha life 2 is the gacha tuber presets. I waited over 3 months to get in & submit my oc in their server just to find out they “didn’t notice my message” and then afterwards found out they don’t even accept new slots anymore 💀 I just snatched a few accessories for my sheets and deleted the game sadly
gl2 is unfinished so i think its a bit unfair to judge it. but i understand. the app was made for people who were asking more items, better ways to adjust for those who like to do so, and like making their own animations. it was made for peole who were more advanced in those areas. you cant expect a new app to come out and work ALMOST exactly the same as the others. ppl will grow out of those features and ask for more. this is exactly what it is. if you think its too overwhelming then theirs a reason why your still able to play gacha club heck, even gacha life. the only reason i dont use gl2 is because im annoyed that they dont have static poses of more backgrounds yet. (and the fact that luni kinda sucks at keeping promises and managing how long he goes afk from updating the gmae) i agree gl2 is time consuming but again it was kinda intended for those who didnt mind using extra time. and as ppl grow out of gl2 more games will come with more complicated features that will please the audiance. thats how i always saw it working. you either stay on the same spot or move up with other people. that's the way it is something. but i respect your opinion and im not trying to hate on you, im also just simply sharing my own :))
That's the thing, its incomplete in my opinion, it lacks features from the other games, like default backgrounds, poses and animations. The fact that is incomplete prevents from making videos 😭😭😭
Ironic how GL2 still has the Christmas Themed Menu, the same way Gacha Life still has the Christmas Pfp since it never got updated again by Luni iirc. History repeats itself ig💀🙏
I found Gacha club easier the use since Gacha life 2 has way more many options, but eventually I found it more creative since I could animate with it, since Gacha club on iOS got a bug that won’t ever be fixed since we haven’t heard from Luni on the Gacha life 2 discord server.
Wow I didn’t realize people hate GL2 that much 😅 Yes GL2 can be complicated to use because of these detailed features, but for me, I love GL2 because you have more access to do a lot of things that GC is incapable of, and I even made my OCs so much better thanks to it. It’s all about being patient & understand the complexity of GL2, but I guess no one has the patience for it, so they’ll be like: nah too lazy to do all of that BS 😂😂😂 But wow I didn’t think people would hate GL2 that much, I thought people would love it more 😅

I really have a hate-love relationship with either gacha life 2 or gacha club right now. I made my oc in gl2 and when i notice that there was not statics pose, i already give up on using it to make video or edit. Later, I intended to recreate this same oc in gc but the features i used to create it was only available in gl2 . I love GL2 but it's too complicated and i don't have the creativity to waste my time on it ( i struggle so much on adjusting the poses especially like everytimes i want to change it, my oc's body part become a real mess ) And for GC, there's no many features but at least it's more easier to use and mods exist so....😅😅i'm just looking forward to the new update of some 'cause some gachatuber tend to recreate the gl2 adjustment features on gc one
Luni also doesnt fix nor update the PC version. -_- PC version STILL doesnt have the updates the mobile ones have nor the bug fixes like the stupid slots deleting the character you worked hard on!!
What pisses me off probably the most is the fact that the pc version still hasn't gotten the animated poses update. I was looking forward to gacha life 2 because the pc version would finally get updates, and we wouldn't have to rely on mods. But guess what, we still haven't gotten the update, and when you try to ask about it on the discord server, they just tell you "The pc version will get the update with the next update," when is gacha life 2 getting the next update? "Once Luni finishes the other game he's working on".

Totally agree with your frustration, Gacha Club and the original Gacha Life Is probably 1 of the best Games released In the Gacha Community because how absolutely simple it is, and then you can just use these two apps to make absolutely great content! but A lot of mess-ups and mistakes that Gacha Life 2 has is the fact that it wasn't updated and future updates weren't produced, and Now there are so many adjustments and terrible color render and It's just an pixelated mess, the anime style Is not in studio and as well with less backgrounds, Even on mobile your OC does not align with your finger when you try to move the characters, I am getting really good at Gacha Club So I prefer staying there.
when I first played it I was confused cause it was the first time I played Gacha at all but I found it easy oh and btw I just messed around till I understood, my oc's look like trash and beauty had a child. (overall great game ! :) )

It'll be all there in GL3 if you use GL2 you can import characters into there and then all the missing features will be there for now we're just going to have to wait another year while Luni finishes WonderEnd
1. you can change it to landscape lol, dw, even if it defaults to portrait 2. being able to customize is not a bad thing, and honestly, neither is poses, you can still choose the default poses, they're not gone, plus, you can use free move to move it to the spot, and then the arrows and stuff to make it line up, which I greatly appreciate since it always bothered me really bad when stuff wouldn't just line up (also you can finally edit the middle hair T⌂T) 3. I also miss the minigames, and the backgrounds thing sucks because they couldn't even bother to leave any but a few of the old ones 4. (personal gripes) Gacha Life 2 is very unfinished, it feels like a big passion project full of lovely art and has to potential to be a great game, but sadly Luni has very clearly ditched it, so unless he lets someone else pick it up, it'll probably remain glitchy, we literally have several glitches so common they have names and are is simple to mistakenly trigger as going from the gloves to the hair section, or just trying to use certain hairs, and they got rid of the striped gloves for some reason
I just don't like that gl2 doesn't have the previous poses, i found it a little difficult to figure out how to make my ocs and have my own style and now i find it pretty fun making new ocs:D
Whilst I personally love GL2, since I was starting to get bored of the limitations that came with all tne other gacha games and therefore I wasn't using much at the time. I agree with (most of) your critisisms. The game is beyond half baked. So many features aren't complete and instead of focusing on GL2 updates Luni is, to my knowledge, still working on a compleatly different game and allowing GL2 to stay an utter mess. I'm sure there's reasons for all this, but that doesn't mean the game isn't bad right now. Considering how unfinished studio mode currently is you would've thought there would atleast be a body sheet feature to compensate but no, and there isn't even any sign that one will be added in the future. I'm still happy for the game since it allows for a new playstyle (my playstyle) that I feel has been ignored before. There are still the earlier games there for people who find it overwhelming. But right now it's borderline unusable for most playstyles

GC is definitely easier, but GL2 has a bigger payoff imo since you can make characters that look like they were edited in IbisPaint 😅

I agree on the time-consuming poses, I spent 30 minutes making a simple pose of a weakened warrior close to defeat. Gosh, it pissed me off.
And there's still no preset pose. Please I'm fighting for my life with custom poses😭
I did it on my first try was really easy to move everything around and today’s my first day and I only took 20 minutes
