You're most welcome, any task is doable if you break it down in to smaller tasks: like here layer by layer, at first wet on wet, then adding the highlights when it dries
It is an oil painting with a very attractive structure. It keeps me focused and it seems to keep dragging me into the oil painting. Thank you for the good oil paintings, music and videos. Be happy.
Sensational ! So realistic you could almost feel queasy looking at the finished painting. Very clever idea to put up the instructions on screen as it is easier to take notes and remember the details. Well done Eva.
This is beautiful.... i enjoy watching you and i try to imagine if i could even come close to this level one day! the outerbanks is my inspiration along with watching you thank you for posting!
i fell in love with this particular painting...i didn't know you have a tutorial for it. I started painting seascape recently and I want to learn more...thank you for this tutorial
I watched someone on one of my art groups on Facebook , recreate this and credit you and I had to head over here to RUclips and watch yours , it’s absolutely magical and beautiful 😍 , thank you for sharing and I would love 💕 to try this in acrylics , you make it look effortless 🙌😊 xx
Thank you for sharing this is just amazing, I paint acrylic seascapes and have been given some oils your video has shown brilliant techiques. Your painting is losing me in the depths of the sea, beautiful!
J'adore !! c'est magnifique ! et quelle technique ! je veux essayer mais je sais que c'est très difficile malgré les apparences. Merci. J'espère vous voir encore dans de très belles démonstrations.
It’s all about the consistency of paint. Also, if you don’t like the colts you have achieved in the first layer, paint over them, or subtle glaze over in the subsequent layers after the oils are dry
Living down here in the Caribbean i took up the sport of Scuba diving, and each and every time i went down i am always amazed at the beauty of the marine life, with its coral's and vibrant colors. What we see on the surface is just part of that beauty down under. Therefore I can only appreciate how you bring out this beautiful splendor in your art. I do have but one question: What oils are you using, Williamsburg, Old Holland, etc. Thanks for the video.
I completely agree with you on it, there’s a whole new world underwater. You’re so lucky to live in such a beautiful place! I mostly use Winsor and Newton and Gamblin oil paints
Many thanks for this video. I too love to paint water. This video is a great tutorial for identifying all the values, shadows and reflections. Can I use these techniques on a wood panel i.e a shellac surface instead of a gesso based surface for realism as it allows us to subtract colors as well ??
Very beautiful Eva. I wish your camera was closer to the canvas. Have you thought of doing a tutorial Painting lesson you could sell? Sign me up. Safe save.
Love this Eva! Do you just paint oils without mixing in any mediums? That side of it always stumps me. Plus when you swap colours, what would you clean the brush with? This is prob the main reason I stick with acrylics!
could you show how to mixing to make the pink color and light blue and light purple color ? i were try but that 5colors can not mixing to make the pink light blue and light purple color . so asking you how to make it ?
I enjoyed this as I have the others. The only thing that bugged me was the center of interest was smack dab in the center of the canvas , otherwise well done!
Thank you, in my opinion the center of interest is not one point here but the whole middle of the canvas. This painting is hanging in my dining room now and I’m enjoying it a lot.
I wish you would try to verbalize instructions through your tutorial videos. It would mean so much to viewers. Along with the instructions on the screen…. Thank you
Absolutely stunning, thank you so much for posting this premiere. I cannot wait to do one of your tutorials.
You're most welcome, any task is doable if you break it down in to smaller tasks: like here layer by layer, at first wet on wet, then adding the highlights when it dries

Excellent (Mükemmel) 👏😊🎨

Great...i wonder, after the first dark layer for the ocean you put light blue waves. How doesn't get mess the paint?
It’s all about the consistency of paint. Also, if you don’t like the colts you have achieved in the first layer, paint over them, or subtle glaze over in the subsequent layers after the oils are dry

Hi Sandy, I use a bit of Liquin as a medium
Just clean it with a rag or paper towel
hey ,how did you slick the canvas, did you put linseed oil before you painted? Thanks
Bravissima..
Wow

Hi, I saw you were looking at a photograph while painting it. May I know which photograph
could you show how to mixing to make the pink color and light blue and light purple color ?
i were try but that 5colors can not mixing to make the pink light blue and light purple color .
so asking you how to make it ?
Tried to paint this but just wound up with a weird Dr Seuss surreal landscape.
Thanks anyway, your work is beautiful.
Takk!
Do u use varnish after it all dried up?
Yes, ideally after half a year or more
I enjoyed this as I have the others. The only thing that bugged me was the center of interest was smack dab in the center of the canvas , otherwise well done!

it looks about real-time slowed down to 25%. Thanks Eva
