I wish I could! Due to time differences / schedules it won't work out for right now- but maybe during the summer we could make something happen! Thanks for the feedback :)
Both mason ford and niklas have good major track records and they’re fantastic woods players I’m really surprised there was no mention of them especially niklas
Niklas was tied for 2nd last year! I like his odds. Hits lines in the woods really well. Tied with Eagle last year so I guess Eagle will have a chance too, but that’ll be tough with no warmup.
@@GripLocked thanks for checking! I think it was this one and Texas states that weren’t on Spotify, so I didn’t know if the preview show wouldn’t be on Spotify anymore.
Random thought that probably doesn’t matter. But I do think the set needs to be brighter with some better lighting on it or something in the background. Feel like it’s a bit to dark but maybe that’s just me
Jo mentioned that because of scheduling she can't record at the same time. Her segment sticks out being it's not conversational like the rest of the show and the edit, when watching, is jarring. Solution: Pre- record a segment with Trevor hitting the points she wants and having some back and forth.
Jo doesn't really speak about specific parts of the womens' game. Ohn is sidearm dominant and the course doesn't set up well for her. She will be able to navigate those tight lines but I wouldn't ever give her similar chances as Missy. Gannon also throws softer drifting lines while Ohn works with sharper angles which might be a problem on tight tunnel shots. So not "anybodies game" between those two. Not the biggest FPO disc golf expert but even I can make specific predictions based on play and not just stats... I want to be constructive, so let me know if you disagree with this take. I'd love to discuss and not just put my opinion out there as "the right one".
Hunter saying Wysocki isn’t thee guy at WR Jackson is a terrible take. He’s had 7 starts since 2011 at tournaments using WR and has 4 wins and 2 of those wins have been Majors. His second place was also at a Major. 1st- 2011 PDGA Championship (Major) 1st- 2013 Hall of Fame Classic 6th- 2015 Hall of Fame Classic (lost by 2 strokes) 1st- 2017 PDGA Worlds (Major) 1st- 2017 Hall of Fame Classic 7th- 2018 Hall of Fame Classic 2nd- 2022 Champions Cup (Major) 5:57
This is episode 234 but not labeled Grip Locked Ep 234. I see that your views for the preview shows are consistently lower than the "Grip Locked" episodes. Why not market these as Grip Locked Ep. ### regardless if it's pre or post tournament ?
I know what you’re thinking… you can’t cut her mid season without ruining her… But it feels like literally ANYONE else on your payroll could do a better job talking up FPO.
Thunderstorms on Sunday you say? I'm going with Big Jerm then.
Lmao
I like the idea of Jo’s session, but to Brodie’s point, damn it’s hard to like with her just reading a script. Please rework this
She needs someone to talk to and play off of. The script reading is tough.
Totally agree. She does an amazing job but it is hard to get past the scripted feel of it, especially with all the video cuts every few words
It’s hard to listen to I low key skip that section
Agree
@@rylansnider330it is now high key
Cole Redalen went -9 and -3 at Northwood last year, so I'm liking his chances, I'll be rooting for him for sure!
Jo is great, which is why you guys should try and get some conversation going with her on the show.

@@johendersondiscgolf Looking forward to it, thanks for the response
"If you enjoy watching players struggle".... ya thats why we watch the bogey bros.
Great job, Jo!!! Love your insight.
thanks for the encouragement :)
great show this week boys and jo! really informative analysis
Anyone who complains about this course is a punk. Disc golf should be hard, and it should be expected that the pros can handle a tough wooded course
Definitely. Hit the gap boy
On the ricky narrative. he has also been historically dominant at green mountain championship but didn’t manage to win worlds there last year or 2018
Was just looking at USDGC history and Ricky has been 2nd place on 3 separate occasions and also 3rd place on 3 separate occasions.
watching this after round one and hearing the Casey White shout is valid
Shoutout to hunter for calling it northwood and not northwoods. That always drives me crazy
I’m came here from Griplocked to see if Hunter mentioned Preznell. Alas…
He didnt

There's one guarantee this weekend, mattyo with another top 5 finish in a major
AB and Cole Redalen finishing 1st 2nd
Too bad no simon this week. I hope Eagle finally gets to start his season without any more setbacks.
Predicting it now. Big Jerm wins the tournament with the Sunday round getting canceled.
Sehmee-Trucks lolol
Note that it is called Northwood Park this year, not Northwood Black because it isnt in the standard black layout
Also it's racist to call anything black
Damn Northwood Black is a way cooler name
@@davidgiesbrecht3816???
Northwood has 2 courses, blue and black.
Im just here to say Ricky is an obvious no go! Lol
Get off the train the breaks are gone.
Look at ABs scores at Northwood gold in 2019 worlds. -16 two rounds
Watch out for Casey!
Why do some preview shows get posted to Spotify and others don’t?
Wondering the same. Thought I missed this one
Should be published but I will verify

Yes, that has nothing to do with my comment. Hunter stated that Ricky has never been “thee guy” at WR Jackson and that’s just false.
@@cglasford1I even time stamped in the post for you to hear.

@@bradleyharrington4071 then why do the ep numbers for GL skip? and they've commented on another's that the preview show is GL.
