Characters with the thickest butts take the biggest poops. If any game is gonna have a cakeee related sanitation problem, it's gonna be marvel rivals.

I think it's cool that Seagull decided to take the main channel down off the pedestal. It's like dad decided to drive the sports car on more than just Sundays.

I lost my mind when I first saw the eldritch creature on the Hydra map. Such a badass visual and I hope we see more of it in the game, because the eldritch is a not well known part of the Marvel Universe.
"The Many Angled Ones" are what they are called in Marvel. They do "eldritch stuff" a lot on the magic side of Marvel.

Fun Fact: the opposite team voice lines are modified to be more sinister whenever they ult to show they’re evil (or it only happens if you’re on the actual good side). It’s a nice little detail.
I do love that all the characters have lines talking about what they're doing in the map
All will be revealed once the next classic Marvel hero "Bladderman" is revealed in season 2. The lore in this game goes crazy!

the next cosmic villain more like it behind the scenes has been fooling universes into not needing bathrooms until his big reveal making society crumble once they realize they have no where to go.
They should make a TVA payload map an have the payload be to deliver a truck of porta-potties to dimension doors leading to the other maps.
I always create a custom game and explore the maps. I do it so I can learn them and in the process I can take in all kinds of details that I never would have realised otherwise

Hearing you talk about how you don't notice the small details on the map because you're focused on the game reminded me of overwatch. I remember they made a PvPvE mode and they made all these secret interactions around the map. I was just thinking, when the hell am I going to be able to explore the map? You can't just stop and roam in a game like this

We have already figured a way to get out of the map.
There's a video on it already. Long story short, 2 stranges on a practice map did portal shenanigans until they clipped over the skybox.
That being said, when they went over to this tube highway way off in the distance, I was amazed on how well detailed that still was, despite being WAY out of bounds
Hulk can throw Wolverine through walls if you hug the wall on the right. Then you can go rocket and run around in the skybox and revive teamates up there. Don’t know if it’s patched yet
I remember that at one point while on the map for route 66 in the outhouse there were magazine assets laying on the floor depicting some of the female characters and I believe it was removed and someone got in trouble. I'm pretty sure I watched Stye make a video on Unit Lost about it.
I mean these are good points. No wheelchair ramps means Professor X is never coming to the game 😂. Unless he does a sick wheelie with his right click and is pushed around by Wolverine

I'm the sort of person that does, occasionally, get distracted by details like this. (Especially in the pre-round spawn lol.) But even then i didn't notice the eldrich creature on the Hydra map. Thank goodness for videos looking at this stuff so my teammates don't get mad at me for looking for the lore lol
Now you can make a custom match with friends for "finding a certain object" game between teams or individuals.
Someone in chat said "no bathrooms in Apex" they clearly haven't played worlds edge.
The map backgrounds are connected to the very long Lore section of the characters.

I don't know if there's a correlation, but I went to China once and it was hard for me to find bathroom. I went to a restaurant once and I had to walk like 10 blocks just to take a piss. On a 10th floor, a barely finish restroom.
dude yes! I legitimately used to spend hours on tf2 servers and other old pc shooters alone just observing the map and trying to find glitch spots when I was younger. Now I look at a map and notice how fair and balanced (or vice versa) it is competitively. Seagull is exactly right lol
The corner of the map eats dead bodies. I'm sure it can do just fine with your personal waste.

To be fair we learned in Iron Man 2 that the Iron Man suit has.... Nevermind
at that point, in his drunken state, it wasn't clear if his suit had a toilet mechanism or he just pissed his pants lol, but I'm sure he figured it out eventually

The lore seems really awesome when I’m not trying to stay alive. The dialogue comes off as annoying when I’m trying to pay attention to a fight

Personally, I really like the interactions between characters in Marvel Rivals. Might be due the fact I was already a big fan of the comics but I dont know. Some of them are very funny and others are cute. Last night I killed a Mantis with Storm and she said "empathize that" it was funny asf wasn't excepting it. The lines of Namor trying to flirt with every female character is also funny asf

he does have a flying chair in some iterations, its sorta like a yellow vehicle he's in, so i reckon they'll just opt for that design rather than having him in an actual WHEELchair
better for gameplay as well since you just float whichever way you press wasd, whereas you cant really implement omni-directional movement on a wheelchair, even an electrical one

I've seen pages from recent X-men comics where professor X is on Krakoa walking around with a dumb looking Cerebro helmet.. Bit of a diva now too 😆

the ‘story’ stuff is done this way for a reason, because it’s a mp game and is meant to not get in the way. The same way you can figure out stories in tf2 and l4d with just dialogue while running and gunning. Complaining that it should all be done out of the game is entirely irrelevant to the point.

It makes sense. Marvel Rivals was made in China, and people there just go anywhere, they don't use bathrooms. There are even signs in popular tourist areas telling Chinese people not to go on the floor and please use a bathroom.
