Tje 90's was when hip hop was going from national to international through sales and tours. Sales got higher, tours got bigger and the competition was extremely steep. Unfortunately, the desire to be the best brought out the worst in many people. The desire for money, fame, status and power can corrupt people's hearts and souls. Meanwhile,it was drama over hookups and connections between people's women that escalated things behind the scenes.

There's a lesson to be learned here, there's a quote that nobody wants to be da king or top dog cause too many problems come wit' that title cause they don't last! Just like that scene in Scarface, "Ya make too much noise or flash too much, ya don't last! Ya keep quiet and keep a low profile, those are the ones who last! Why? Cause they're so quiet, ya don't know what to expect"! I believe if either Tupac or Biggie kept a low profile they would still be alive today! When ya the king or top dog, ya attract a lot of haters cause they're jealous of ya success and wanna be where ya at! But in doin' this, there's always a price to pay fa' it! Like Big Said, Mo' Money, Mo' Problems! Nuff Said!

Guys.....you got to remember....during the Rae & Ghost Biggie beef. East Coast hip hop was popularizing the "Mafioso Rap" thanks to "Kool G.Rap". When everybody wanted to adopt that style ... everybody claimed they originated the style....which leads to Ghost, Rae, & Biggie beef. Both of them didnt start that style....again ir was Kool G Rap. Go back listen to G Rap's "Road To The Riches" album. Then go back listen to his hit "On The Run", "Fast Life fea. Nas" & "Ill Street Blues" off G Rap's second album....you can clearly hear everything Rae, Nas, Ghost, Jay Z, Sauce Money, early Lox, & AZ rapped about G Rap did it decades ago ....! But i guess Rae & Ghost know that now.....
