Are any models neutrally bouyant or close to being so? Also in case nobody noticed, holding your breath while not exerting energy is easier and longer. If this machine were doubled in motor strength and battery capacity it would rock. I imagine a way to control it better, is to use opposite motion controls like an inverted video game controler. Back is up, forward down, brake left, brake right, and a rod that is centered and portruding to diverge impacts. Sturdy yet flexble, similar to a fencing foil, with a ball at the end and everything.The ball should be hydro-dynamic and neutrally bouyant as well, possibly with a camera installed and sensors with indicating lights. Water temp. Orientation. depth warning. Emergency power boost option. GPS tracking. A backpack battery array. A harness could attach releaving yor arms. A fin on the foil protrusion could stabilize turning and dirrectional control capabillities. As well as a suit that compliments the human form and provides better turning, such as shark fins. And why not put on flippers to assist like electric bikes. This is big, and I want in. Imagine being a kid and using one of these to scoot up and down the shore effortlessly. That's the key, effortless;y itself, combined with exploraiotn and relaxation, A natural win, win, win.
With the previous shark spotting vid in mind, I do wonder how a sharks electroreception would interpret one of these... might scare it off, might make it more curious?

Hey Dustin - Not bad for little scooters. I just ordered a Seabob F5 SR - Hope to launch in Wailea/Makena soon. Of coarse the challenge for Seabob is getting scooter delivered to Hana. Should be interesting. I'll let you know when I receive it. Also just got 2 Air Buddys. Hmmm!
7:46 if i was in the ocean with someone and they were pointing like that i would turn around A LOT quicker than he did and who knows how long it actually took him to turn around since he cut the video
@@Asmrizzle Sorry ASMR, the grammar and spelling had me confused. I have used a similar device before. Our tour operator had to give up his to someone else and swam for a portion of the tour. YES! He was a strong swimmer with good fins and he COULD swim faster... but not for long? These extend your bottom time as you aren't using up all your energy. Low speed was ok, but I found the high speed was much more fun. I suggest renting one 1st. I did mine on Antigua with Skylork. Have fun

Thing about going fast underwater is there is so much hydro resistance. We did a review on that big winged scooter @6mph and was hard to hold on 😂🍻

No. If you soak and run thoroughly in fresh water afterwards they last 🍻
Good flippers can go faster than that lol
Then you run out of breath in about a minute and need to rest. Hence one of the points of a water scooter to supplement fins and enjoy the ride more 🍻
