Hi Patrick, How are you?. The spring semester at my college is thankfully over and I’m finally catching up on your awesome videos. Multitasking….quite the challenge for sure! One my jobs requires some significant multitasking and I fail miserably at it. I definitely challenge myself to multitask, but for months my window of time/abilities to do so is very minimal. After short and relatively quick time, I lose and drop the ball and instantly become stressed leading to anxiety attacks. Terrible! Like your situation, my boss and coworkers have gotten upset with me, which then makes me feel horrible about myself. It’s always nice that you can empathize. Thanks for sharing that great article too! Looking forward to reconnecting through your helpful videos and advice! Thank you Patrick! :)
Hello Santos, I m okay, been very busy myself with new job and everything, little bit stressed :) Oh thank you so much! I hate multitasking myself but still try it many times, haha. I can relate, most of my anxiety attacks were because of work :/ I wish you the best and we will chat later soon hopefully :) Thank you for your kind words :)
@@ADHDPatrick Hi Patrick! I’m glad to hear you’re doing okay! Congratulations on the new job! I certainly hope it all goes well. I know that a new job can definitely be stressful especially getting adjusted to a new environment and coworkers. I hope you won’t have to do too much multitasking there. Lol! Yes, hope to talk to you more soon too! Stay well. :)
Lot's of employers and even maybe some arrogant people demand that you "multitask" to become more successful. It's complete bullshit when it comes to most jobs, my ADHD was only made worse by accepting this advice for years.
Yeah so true, its crazy these days, you have to a be Terminator! Many employers want to save money, but I dont think many of them realize the cost of all this in the long run...
What I used to think was multitasking was just me jumping between tasks and taking forever to actually complete any of them (or burning out before they were completed ). It’s just not possible
Your videos are always interesting. 👍I totally agree with you. I know that multitasking is not possible from my psychology books. By the way, I remember this hilarious childhood cartoon about a wolf and a bunny.😁
