The Regulators lost so many men in the battles they were victorious in that it would be almost a moot point if they did take over Fort Bannister. The Talon Company Mercs creating a choke point at 14:19 was smart, the Regulators were doomed. That entire tunnel was a deathtrap for them. The regulators had the numbers but man their lack of armor made it hard for them. They did good even if they lost in the end.
