Hey mtr, I know this video has probably been lost in the RUclips algorithm so I can assume you're the only one still reading the comments on this, I just wanna say that I was just listening to music and this song came on and I just fell in love with it again, and then wanted to come watch this immediately after, and what I'm getting at is that I appreciate the love and effort you put into all of your videos and are constantly improving, despite the fact you know it won't be seen by nearly as many people as it should sometimes, I regard you the highest honor I can besto onto you, "good human"
That means a lot 😊. Tbh I think I need to make my thumbnails better, but I do recognise that doing some songs will not get views like others. This is why I make a big deal about (and will continue to) reactabait. It’s also why I’m trying to slowly move off the wheel of reactions and do some other fun stuff and analyses. There is so much reactabait to do, and if I wanted only views and subscribers, I could smash out 6 -7 low quality videos a week fulfilling the confirmation bias of those who are avid followers of their band and get them as (temporary) subscribers. I very quickly learnt that that’s who I don’t want to be.
This is why I’m so appreciative of you and a select other few who go out of their way to watch my videos which are not just about one band or artist.
It makes me realise that the value placed on subscriber count should be largely ignored. The value is really in those small amount of subscribers, like you, who are quality.
Very High frequency of low quality videos (as mentioned above) = low quality subscribers (although high views).
I’m looking for quality over quantity, and everytime you or anyone else comments whom I recognise, it does warm my heart. So thank you so much for helping me discover music which is largely going unnoticed in the reaction community (because of reactabait).
