I love this show. I especially love her aunt and uncle. her twin brother seems to have the same mannerisms and looks like they could be related. Great casting.

Zhao Lusi is extremely talented. Effortlessly her face shows subtle but genuine emotions.
Neither underplaying not overacting.

She is very good at playing a 15 year old. It’s pretty believable. But, the best actor in this entire series is Wu Lei. His facial expressions and his eyes can tell the whole story without words. He’s truly convincing. Later on you see how fierce of a general he truly is, yet when he speaks to her, he is so gentle. Never raises his voice. Love them.
Yes. I agree. You can actually find his face relaxing and he smiles gently. But then I am partial to Zhao Luci as my daughter is outnumbered by her brothers.

Zhao LuSi comedic timing is wonderful, some of my favorite parts of the series are playing up her injury especially for her father and brothers. That interrogation from the ladies and the carry out of her brothers were hilarious.

Her character is sometimes annoying. She truly has no manners. The way she burst into her aunt and uncle’s room without knocking was so rude. As cute as she is, and as untrained, she should know not to go in a closed door.
