McAvoy and Fassbender absolutely carried the newer X-Men films. The way they portrayed their characters and the compelling dynamic between them was great to watch on screen. Both of them are fantastic actors and I wish to see them in many more, different roles in the future.
I will sign any petition that gets Disney to hire these guys for the MCU.
remember Peter Dinklage was in Both Days of Futures Past and Avengers Infinity Wars. So there could be a big chance of them getting Roles in the MCU but Probably not their Xmen Roles.

@@victoriauntariu1457 Notice how the Avengers and Spider-Man never interact with the X-Men in the movies, unlike in the comic books? That's because back then, Marvel were about to go bankrupt and sold the movie rights of the X-Men and the Fantastic Four to Fox (and Spider-Man's to Sony) in a desperate attempt to continue their existence. Then, a few years later, Disney bought Marvel, and thus, saved them. This enabled them to do superhero movies by themselves, and Marvel Studios was born. They then had the revolutionary idea to create a cinematic universe, where multiple of their franchises would finally be connected with each other, just like in the comic books. Iron Man was the first entry and started what we now know as the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). The latest MCU movie was, ofc, Endgame.
Anyway, there was one big problem, from Marvel's POV: their biggest franchises (back then), the X-Men, the Fantastic Four and Spider-Man, had been sold to other studios as aforementioned, and therefore, it was legally impossible for them to use incorporate franchises in the MCU. That's why the MCU continued without any references to those other franchises (no mutants, Baxter building, Latveria, Daily Bugle etc.), and vice versa. It wasn't until 2015, when hacked e-mails forced Sony to cooperate with Disney/Marvel Studios, which resulted in Spider-Man joining the MCU. That's also why is first MCU movie was called Homecoming, it was a (not so) subtle reference to him returning to Marvel. Things went even better recently for Marvel Studios, when Fox decided to sell themselves to the highest bidder. As we all know, it was their mothership, Disney, who won and eventually absorbed Fox this year. Now, the X-Men will finally appear in the MCU as well. Don't expect any of the Fox actors to return though. It will be a reboot.

I really hopes these two lads continue to get work after this movie crashed. They're both a treasure.
Why wouldn't they, the X-Men movies might be what they're most known for but they're very well established actors with some amazing performances behind them. They'll be fine, maybe even better now that they're out of the incredibly inconsistent FoX-Men Universe.

Fassbender has technically been in the DC Universe when he was in Jonah Hex but I do not blame him for forgetting that movie exists as many people I know have as well.

I dunno about you guys, but I would love to see James McAvoy as Wolveirne in a couple of years. Like, the man has the hair, the face, the body, the height, the right age for more movies and the acting experience if you watched him on Split and Glass, he's just perfect
I was to ask height because I got confused. I forgot Jackman was tall and Wolverine is meant to be shorter.

This is a fun fact but Hugh Jackman during an interview on Days of Future Past said that James would probably be asked for Wolverine after him and he asked him to not do it. He said to not do it as a friend. I think the interview was a train interview with the 2 of them.

So there are still Fox shills out there. Brave. And what exactly is so fun about Fox Magneto? He was horribly written in the last two movies. Also, why even doubt that Marvel THEMSELVES will nail the character? Thanos says hi, and he shits over any Fox villain. Imagine how badly Fox would've butchered him. **Has Vietnam flashbacks of their versions of Apocalypse, Dr. Doom and Galactus** I rest my case.

Fassbenders idea ist not bad but they used this already with Rogue in X1 and also Storm‘s hair turns shock-white in X-Men: Apocalypse.
Magneto‘s hair should have just turned more grey/white naturally over the decades. Dark Phoenix takes place about 30 years after First Class

Disney needs Evan Peters and Michael Fassbender to reprise their roles. Evan is amazing and his charisma basocally caried Xmen for qwhile and Michael is just absolutely amazing as a convincing Magneto.
