Abarth made a nice little car with a true sporty performance. I have driven the Tjet for +3 years on my old ex Grande Punto Sport. Now I drive a 170 hp Giulietta which has a Multiar engine. Great.. I love what my country produce! :)
Good review and nice little cars I find that run flat tyres spoils the ride of some of these cars as spare tyres are disappearing now. One thing to add to the spec list on screen is the weight of the car.
Hard to tell with such little seat time! The Swift would make a better daily, its comfier, more practical and a lot cheaper. The added drama of the Abarth would make it a tad more appealing on a B-road though!
@@BleeCarswell Thanks Blee. The Abarth is almost 200kg heavier than the Swift (hard to believe) but has 40 more horsepower. Are they performance wise on par with each other or is the Abarth noticeably faster?
@@BleeCarswell I've read several times now that the Swift often gets dyno'd with around 150hb whereas the Abarth is more about 170hp. That puts them together even more closely. A direct comparison would be very interesting. Thanks for your reply!

Nice looking thing but I doubt I could live with that ride! Great review mate. 😁
Thanks Radam 😀
awesome lil nugget of performance. love these things
Hopefully I'll get one at some point! Thanks for watching mate :)

Two good points! I'll make a note to add that in future. Thanks for watching pal 👍!
I’d love those front seats & red seatbelts in my Abarth Punto :P
Love it! I really wish they bunged a 6 speed 'box in it though.
Definitely! It’ll be interesting to see how they replace the 500, it’s been around for so long!
@@BleeCarswell I'm thinking EV...
@@saintfunny Hmm not a bad shout!
How does it compare to the Swift Sport you drove last time? The Abarth is almost twice the price of the Swift but is it twice the fun?
Thanks

@@ActionHeinz I didn't feel much (if at all) quicker. The quoted figures could be thanks to gearing! I may be wrong though haha

@@ActionHeinz Interesting to know! Thanks for watching 👍
180 Bhp in a car that size is mental 🤯
And It’s pronounced essay essay.
Ha my bad!
