The fact that they called Crush 40 nobodies made me die inside. Also since when was it a problem that a song from a video game sounds like it’s from a video game?
What I’m made of is a classic Crush 40 song that has more meaning if you understood the context it is the final boss theme where your fighting a high speed flying battle as Super Sonic and friends versus an old classic rival of Sonic who is obsessed with beating Sonic but also thinks he is the real Sonic. This characters history with Sonic makes the songs lyrics and message more clear and it is amplified by the constant back and forth Sonic and the rival have both given their history and this song says a lot about the feelings of the Boss and Sonic. By using the power of teamwork Sonic and his friends put this old adversary down. Honestly the the dialogue in this fight is amazing so many back and forth comments from Sonic and the final boss it really is amplified if you played the older Sonic games before heroes to understand. Edit: The final boss also copied everyone abilities essentially taking a part of them metaphorically.
True, the whole reason the song is called "What I'm Made Of" is because the final boss has literally copied the powers of the strongest beings on the planet; Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow and Chaos but the chorus is still shouting "Let me show you just what I'm made of." probably coming from the perspective of Sonic who's basically saying "We're not strong just because of our powers, let me show you what I mean." Because Metal was literally built to surpass Sonic in every way yet he still loses time and time again so it's obvious that it isn't just Sonic's speed or power that makes him win, Metal lacks something even though he copied the data of the strongest lifeforms he could find (probably a personality and emotions considering how cheesy the Sonic games were during this time... in a good way of course)
Do they still think all the vocal songs they heard from Sonic weren't made for their games? They literally were, the only one that wasn't is Vandalize.
if you guys like the rap rock style. i recommend "his world" by zebrahead. they made 2 versions of the song. one is definitely better than the other in my opinion. the one they made after sonic 06 came out.
Sonic heroes came out around the ends of 2003 so you are spot on the 2000s music there and the band is called Crush 40, and they’ve been quite a lot of the sonic game music that slaps a lot of times. Basically a lot of sonic music slaps
This is the best crush song. Yes it sounds like game music but it sounds the most advanced. It sounds like it could be played on radios, games and films like footloose and cure. Wont you guys agree.
well...this song was made for a video game and this is just for the final boss....you need to play the game to understand the reason of the song...so I disagree on your statement.
Crush 40 is a staple band in the sonic games. They’ve made a lot of songs for the series

“Probably nobody”

He always seems so annoyed when the word “Sonic” is in front of him 🤣

These vocal songs ARE indeed made FOR these games except for one song ever.. And that's Vandalize.
