You'd be right about Bentley Jones not being a real name; it's actually a pseudonym the singer uses. I believe his actual name is Lee Brotherton. From what I recall he wrote this song either during or after a pretty bad break-up, which is definitely reflected in some of the lyrics, though they also happen to fit with the character this theme is for imo. I'm personally a big fan of this song. He's worked on some other songs in the series too, though the only one I can name off the top of my head is a remix of "Seven Rings In Hand" (the main theme of Sonic and the Secret Rings), which is titled "Seven Rings In Hand ~Fairytales In Trance~", which he also did a remastered version of back in 2022 that you can find on his RUclips channel. I think he might've also sung "Race To Win" from Sonic Rivals, but I can't quite recall, as I'm admittedly not a huge fan of that particular song and rarely ever listen to it
Fun fact: The chorus in Dream of an Absolution uses Leitmotifs from Sonic the Hedgehog's Green Hill Zone music track from the very first sonic game (Which I find amazing)
Silver the Hedgehog, best hedgie boi 🤍🥹 Thanks for checking out this song, you two ^^ It means a lot! If you don’t know, Silver comes from 200 years in the future, a dark ruined future where everything is on fire and ashes, so yeah, really hard to survive in a time like that especially with pretty much everyone else gone. He wields the psychokinesis/telekinesis, whichever you prefer, and in the game’s story, he was sent back in time, 200 years into the past and set out to stop the one known as the Iblis Trigger from triggering quote on quote, the end of the world, according to an unknown stranger who found him struggling after another failed attempt to stop this never ending threat. There’s a lot more to the character and what he is about than meets the eye. Silver may be naive, but his heart is always in the right place, as much as he tries. Imagine being 14 years and still fighting against all odds to remain hopeful despite the darkest of times, but Silver will always fight for a silver lining 🤍
this song = the lyrics = (those) specific cutscene(s) = my childhood trauma = I cried for some reason . for 06, this is [one of the 3 songs of "playable characters theme"], these THEME SONGS are treated as end credit songs of each route (Sonic, Shadow and Silver) the other 2 songs + variants are : - His World (Ali Tabatabaee & Matty Lewis version) for Sonic's Theme *** Ali and Matty are both from [Zebrahead], and yes there're [Zebrahead version] too! (which most of ppl find it's the best version) the other version is [CRUSH40 version] - All Hail Shadow (CRUSH40 version) for Shadow's Theme *** this song original version was in [Shadow The Hedgehog] game version (the game released 2005)
