Glad you mentioned that you thought it was similar to downtown farmers market because I was thinking the same exact thing. I really enjoy downtown farmers market. I did enjoy your teach so thank you for that.
Im so on the fence with this game. I have had in my cart for a few weeks now. If it was under $30 I would take that chance. I do think this game may get better as you play it. Great review !!
I didn't mention it in the video but the player boards are dual-recessed so the tokens stay in the spots you put them in. And the tokens are wood so the components are pretty nice with this game. Probably part of the reason for the cost. If you're able to find it at the right price, snag a copy and let us know what you think of it! Thanks and for watching and commenting, as always!
I picked this up on Black Friday back in November but we haven't tried it yet. We are a couple similar to you where I'm more of a gamer and she is not, but we both still like playing games. So we are always on the lookout for something that will be a win-win for us both. FYFE seems promising. It reminds me of Keystone North America in trying to optimize placement within a grid and that went over well with us last summer.
There's a lot to like about this one. It's a solid game and if you liked Keystone you'll probably like FYFE. Let us know what you think of it once you've played it, and thanks for watching!
Here is a variant from the designer. You can use the lucky charms whenever you like and see fit. So no shell tokens have to be drawn to "activate" them. But you can use only one per turn and only max. five in total! If you draw a shell token just replace them. But beware that this variant can lead to more AP!

Sam really enjoys Downtown Farmers Market so it's on her mind a lot haha 😄. Thanks for watching and commenting!
On the fence about this one too. Your review was helpful and think I’ll grab it if the price gets below that sweet spot.
Glad to hear you enjoyed our review! Thanks for watching and commenting!

Oooh that's an interesting variant! I think we'd like that and we'll have to try it. Thanks for sharing that! 👍
Seems like an enjoyable puzzle.
It's frustratingly fun! 😆
