you aren't supposed to remember it. you are supposed to save it to your Microsoft account. (which is by far the safest option ) the recovery code is very long and pretty much impossible for anyone to remember. Never save the keys on the drive which has Bitlocker enabled. if you don't have the recovery code then you are pretty much done for. I believe there are softwares out there that can decrypt your drive but I do not have much knowledge of them, I found one called passware kit might be able to decrypt it. but it's very expensive..

Brother, it's best to format your hard disk drive, unless you still want to access the data on it. For some motherboards, you can disable and enable TPM or Secure Boot to bypass the BitLocker recovery key bar.
He’s not referring to the normal password to unlock windows. Rather one of the two bitlocker passwords. For this tutorial to work u must know the one that you created, while the other password(recovery password made up of just numbers) can be ignored.

If your PC was used PIN to login Windows, well you don't have to worry too much. Login your current Microsoft Account to find out your BitLocker Recovery Key.

if you have system on your encrypted drive and dont care about data then just reinstall system and then in windows settings turn off bitlocker

Login with the PIN or you can reset it but make sure you have the internet connection at that time. Do you have a Microsoft account? brother.

Hello,my surface go 2 got locked after i restarted it. I've got no recovery key, got no idea when I turned on the bitlocker function. No recovery found in my Microsoft account. The security boot thing doesn't work. The bios get C: command doesn't show the recovery key. May I know what else I can do to fix this shit? Thank you.
Try to disable or turn off usb and other devices in bios, save and restart PC

But some how, for one PC, the recovery key does not store in active directory. After rebooting the PC, it directly goes to Recovery Key interface and does not want any PIN. Format it or replace it with a new SSD, and then you can do a clean Windows Installation

Unlock it and turn off too, brother
Open a command prompt, and Run As Administrator
Type the following command:
manage-bde -unlock D: -rp (BitLocker recovery key)
manage-bde -off D:
Note: D is an example of your external USB drive letter.
