Haven’t pulled the trigger on a bulk loader yet, but thanks for this great overview and tutorial!

Thank you, it's so much fun. I hesitated myself for months on doing it. The AP bulk loader is worth paying a bit more for as it's impossible to accidentally expose the film ...and that was my concern with some of the other designs available. I'll do another video at some point on inserting the film into the loader itself

I’ve heard the modern ilford film cassettes can be reused by tapping them on the table with the protruding part down, popping off the cap. Have you heard this? I haven’t tried yet.
I’ve been concerned those plastic “screw” top cassettes look sketchy and might come open, and good ones seem hard to find. Used to be easy when I learned film photography years ago.
My photo teacher used to sell us rolls for $1 if we brought in a cassette for him to fill.

Do you have a UK source for the tape you used please

If you leave about 20mm if the old film, protruding from the cassette, you can attach the film from the bulk loader with a piece of clear tape. I never need to open my old film cassettes.

Great tip. I've read about this. .but not tried it yet. I have kept a few old rolls of TriX with 20mm of film protruding out for just this purpose. It does sound an easier method.

i bought the Kaiser (at a $50 premium and took a month to get it) and myupper arrow is not white, though the instruction sheet says it is. Only difference between mine and yours is the AP sticker instead of Kaiser sticker. They’re all made in the same factory to same specifications for the same company selling them at $5 a pop probably. Could have saved $50 buying it in the US and received it quicker. And I hoped it would, being “german,” accommodate (operate) my Leica IXMOO brass film cassettes. It does not. All film loaders evidently do the same thing except the ones that open an close the Leica film cassettes. I’m still looking for one of those. If anyone knows that brand will do that, please respond. :)
